I feel bad for old John. I guess he’s realizing that being a real war hero doesn’t carry that much weight after all. A good lying campaign grants just as many benefits. Of all the candidates he’s probably the most tenacious individual to deal with the world’s weirdos. He’s just not very smooth and personable. And after all, except for the very small percentage of voters who actually analyze a candidate’s backgrounds and records, the country is made up of a vast majority of superficial people who will worship someone with a pretty face and a smooth delivery over someone who will actually be good for them, and protect them.
