Free the presidential debates!
Please see these petitions, organized by Prof. Lawrence Lessig, asking the RNC & DNC:
…to require of any network broadcasting Presidential debates (at least) that they license the debates freely after they are initially broadcast — either by putting the debates into the public domain, or by permitting anyone to use or remix the contents of those debates, for any reason whatsoever, so long as there is attribution back to any purported copyright holder…
I’ve signed on to the effort, along with many other bloggers and Internet free speech activists on both sides. I hope both political parties get with the 21st century and sign on, too.

Mike Krempasky at RedState quoted in ZDNet News:
Mike Krempasky of RedState argued that if the networks and national parties oppose the free use of debate video content, they’ll be fighting a losing battle. “This is the future. There’s no changing that,” he said. “If you can’t stop something, you might as well get in front of it.”
