What if the Normandy invasion had occurred on June 6th, 2007 (via The Combat Report)?
Bloggers remember:
MKH. Blackfive. Duty in the Desert. The Tank.

Glad you had this post, it is good to always remember those who gave their tomorrows for our todays.
If it was a modern day BBC report it would be “now over to our Berlin correspondant Lord HAW HAW”
10,000! We lost that many soldiers in a couple of days, and we have ONLY lost less than 4,000 in the past years in Iraq.
No loss is good, but we are all volunteers, and those of us who have been there can tell you things are getting better in Iraq. I was there for the start, when Rumsfield screwed it up, and I am getting ready to go again.
Wow, imagine if we had the MSM coverage then, what it would be like today.
