Virtual Fence? What is that? Getting pictures of new Amnesty applicants as they stroll across the virtual border?

On of the more transparent prevarications about this bill that has not been explained by the Senate is that all illegals will become legal residents immediately. It is only the “path of citizenship” that is delayed. But why would any of these people want to be citizens? They get all the benefits and none of the down side. Heck they can even vote, apparently in Nv, Ca, and Wa. They don’t need to pay taxes, can get unlimited DUIs, , can practice pediophilia, etc. And if caught, just go back to Mexico and come in with a new name.

Dear ArmywifeArmymom–great letter. As I understand the process, you’ll have the best chance of the President’s actually reading it if you send it by real mail. The whole “shamnesty” debate–and efforts by the so-called leadership in the Senate to ram it down our throats–certainly takes a lot of the joy out of serving one’s country. I hope that you get a good response. And, of course, that your menfolk (if I may use that old fashioned term) come back hale and hearty.

What a disgrace !
I know we are in a battle with legislation right now but let’s not forget the battle to come. The judicial branch . Towns are trying to enforce existing laws but they are losing in court . Judges saying state and local authorities cannot enforce federal laws.

It all comes down to a matter of respect for me. I live in Texas and have many Hispanic friends (all legal). Mexico is supposedly our friend but when your friends come over to your house, do they ring the doorbell or do they crawl in through the window? Any ‘friend’ who breaks in your house is not a friend. Is America a sovereign nation or isn’t she? And just the fact that we’re even having a debate about whether or not to secure our border 6 years after 9/11 is just insane. Build the dam fence already
