Illegal aliens announce “campaign of resistance”
Hmmm:
Hours after the Senate voted against advancing the immigration reform project, the Mexican activist Elvira Arellano announced a campaign of resistance against the U.S. government.
In a written statement, the leader of the movement Familia Unida (United Family) said that “if the Democrats and the Republicans cannot summon the courage to fix the broken law we will not sit quietly and see our families and our children cut to pieces on the broken pieces of that broken law.”She demanded an immediate moratorium on all raids and deportations.
Arellano, who has remained in a Northwest Side church since August 15 to avoid an order of deportation, said this would be the deadline the government will have to “revive and pass a comprehensive immigration reform.”
Otherwise, pro-immigrant organizers will begin a campaign “aimed at bringing this government and this economy to a halt.”
Looks like the gloves of the open-borders movement are coming off. They’re planning yet another march out of the shadows:
Representatives from the Centro Sin Fronteras and the Illinois Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights also announced this morning they were prepared to take “economic actions” against corporations that support anti immigrant legislators and programming.
Also, a massive concentration of families and children is scheduled for July 17 in Washington D.C. to “confront the leaders of both parties and the President.”
What do you think DHS secretary Michael Chertoff will do about it?
My prediction: Nada.

Who is Elvira Arellano to demand anything? This is appalling. Illegals from other countries telling us what to do and how to do it.
Why is every other country allowed to secure its borders without comment and we aren’t? I am sick and tired of this and having a government that doesn’t protect its borders and citizens.
Sooooo stupid. They want to come here so badly that they’ll even break the law doing it, yet they hate our country.
Like I have to say so many times: “If you don’t like our country, then move out!”
Here we go. Round two.
You know, not to sound crass, but we have tens of thousands of school buses sitting idly by for the summer. If you know what I’m sayin…
“Arellano, who has remained in a Northwest Side church since August 15 to avoid an order of deportation…”
Wait a minute… that cant be right… AUGUST 15 ????
Do they mean AUGUST 15 of 2006???? You mean she has been holed up in a church avoiding deportation for over 10 MONTHS, and SHE is claiming some sort of moral authority to challenge the will of the American people.
Mind boggling.
I didn’t know who Elvira Arellano was, so I websearched for her. Check out this link (if you have a strong stomach) http://www.socialistworker.org/2006-2/598/598_12_Elvira.shtml and find out what our Socialist comrades are saying about her…blech! The references to her being here a decade and still being illegal and the Minutemen “vigilante” made my head spin like Linda Blair’s in “The Exorcist.”
It seems it will be just a matter of time before this group turns to terrorist tactics. Then, a liberal medial will sponsor and promote statements that accuse opponents of illegal immigration as responsible for creating the conditions that make terrorism possible.
Yeah, I’m sure these “economic actions” will convince people to give illegal aliens citizenship.
When can we expect to see all the uncaptured felons, rapists, drug dealers et al to post their manifestos? A criminal is a criminal after all.
If ever they should hear us… It will be difficult to mount resistance from the back of a bus taking the illegals back to their ‘homeland’.
I don’t know, sounds pretty close to me. If you look hard enough, I bet a number of these groups are engaged in facilitating a number of criminal activities involving illegal immigration that are predicate offenses under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act. If our DoJ had any cojones, they’d be monitoring these groups and getting RICO actions ready. But it doesn’t, and it won’t.
Its the new civil rights movement, but this time these people aren’t even U.S. citizens. Outrageous!
As I proposed last week, we will have a Civil War very soon-unfortunately.
The only situation that can change this is to seal the borders, sent those that “threaten” us, as this woman has, back to her homeland ASAP…..
How DARE they come into OUR country and tell US what we are to do. Can you see any one of us going into another country and conducting ourselves as such?
Off the subject somewhat; I received a letter this weekend from Senator BURR, addressing his position on the Amnesty Bill….(choking as I type)…..it was dated June 14th. DUH.
I wrote him and called LAST week.
I am not stupid. What does the 14th info have to do with anything concerning his flipflopping? Did not address my concerns at all….just a standard waste of taxpayers’ money to mail- a letter.
It’s a wonder nothing is getting done to protect us. Guess we need to load up with guns/cannons and defend ourselves.
Keep the PRESSURE ON!!!!!!!
“Why is every other country allowed to secure its borders without comment and we aren’t? I am sick and tired of this and having a government that doesn’t protect its borders and citizens”
Join the Minutemen, or send money. Learn to use a firearm, and obtain a carry permit if your state allows it. If it doesn’t, try to get the laws changed. They want a “well-regulated militia”, then we will give them one to be reckoned with. If the government abdicates it’s responsibility to protect the citizens of this nation, then we will have to protect ourselves.
We need a march on Washington of our own.
Sounds like the perfect opportunity to round up some of the illegals who have already been ordered deported and actually do it. Will it be done? Uhhh…no.
How about starting a “campaign of resistance” against illegal aliens and employers of illegal aliens. We ought to boycott any firm which employs illegal labor into their products (cleaning, lawn services, food processing, restaurants, etc.) We need to take our country back. We can’t count on homeland security or any government body to enforce our laws. Obviously, the government has been aware of this woman’s whereabouts since Aug 15, 2006. Why is she still here? The boy belongs with the mother or under Child Protective Services.
I see a counter demonstration for the same day, I and the 3 other members of my family are in anyone else want to join?
People are getting sick of this. However, I think we are going to have to get more vocal or have a march of our own before Washington takes us seriously. We want secure borders. We want our laws enforced. I believe writing Washington and our local Congressmen weekly about this makes a good point. I also support the Minutemen. The efforts of the left to make this group out to be vigilantes is disgusting.
You want a fight lady, you’ve just gotten yourself one.
Who the hell does she think she is? And ditto for all the other “activists”.
To: Arellano, United Family and the Center Without Borders. The American people have spoken. They do not want the shamnesty. Threats and economic actions will only strengthen the resolve of the American people. Dirty Harry said it best, “Go ahead make my day”.
Note to blogosphere Goddess: These people should be filed under “Idiots”
jose
Hey, I say let’em march and riot. It would be like a free PR campaign for people who oppose amnesty.
Is she freaking kidding? How dare this woman hide out in a church, after being found guilty of committing a crime, and then demand that we change our laws to make her crime legal?
Let them march, let them boycott, let them come out of the shadows (even for one day) and let the American people (and possibly even our government) see the extent of the problem.
Chertoff will do NOTHING. Of course, I am not aware that Chertoff has ever done anything to boost “Homeland Security.”
As a side note, these illegals really tee me off. Where do these lecherous creatures get the audacity to dictate to us what our laws should be?
DHS should be present at every illegal alien rally to arrest and deport. These criminals should be forced to operate in fear!
Oh goodie, can we re-enact the Battle of San Jacinto? For real?
Does Hispanic Community Believe In Law?
This is beyond the politicans themselves
I think the sad implicaton of politicians chasing and pandering to the Hispanic vote is that are they assuming that the greater Hispanic community in America believe in breaking the law en masse. I mean, if over 90% of Hispanics in America heeded our laws then you should be able to campaign in their communities and pose the Immigration issue with an assumption of no general prejudice in the local electorate — that they will fairly weigh the issue. Call me simplistic, but if Republicans are so fearful of “losing” the Hispanic vote because the Immigration Bill was knocked down, then it implies that the greater Hispanic electorate here believe in supporting illegal acts (illegal border crossing and non-citizen homesteading). If this is true, then the racial and cultural issues involved in this affair as well as education and law enforcement are far far worst than we could’ve thought.

I wonder if Tommy will be at the march?
James –
As far as I know (and I am Hispanic), most of the people that I know from my background completely agree with current immigration law and are against blank amnesty for illegal aliens.
I do not know which Hispanics the media refers to when they claim that Hispanics want immigration reform. They must be referring to illegal alien Hispanics (and yes, many of them vote!).
As you point out, in my case, the Republican Party should be concern about losing my vote, but not because of a failed “comprehensive immigration” reform but because of their incompetence. Having said that, I will still vote for my current two Senators (Texas).

The Immigration and Naturalization Act explicitly forbids any organization to harbor illegal aliens. Why are these religious and municipal entitities being permitted to thumb their noses at the law? Also, I’m reading that the RICO act may enable private citizens to initiate a suit against such organizations:
http://www.americanpatrol.com/REFERENCE/AidAbetUnlawfulSec8USC1324.html
Private persons and entities may initiate civil suits to obtain injunctions and treble damages against enterprises that conspire to or actually violate federal alien smuggling, harboring, or document fraud statutes, under the Racketeer-Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO). The pattern of racketeering activity is defined as commission of two or more of the listed crimes. A RICO enterprise can be any individual legal entity, or a group of individuals who are not a legal entity but are associated in fact, and can include nonprofit associations.
It would be interesting to know if this statement is accurate.
Sitting on her butt in a church for almost a year has this “Activist” up for sainthood with the Pro-Shamnesty crowd.
My family *emigrated* from Mexico in 1923 after the “revolutionary” government murdered Emiliano Zapata and Pancho Villa. My GrandFather lost his land and everything he owned because he supported the Army of the North with food, horses, and sanctuary. He came to the US with 7 kids and my Grandmother for political asylum.
The entire family was naturalized before my own father was born in Powell Wyoming 10 years later. They did it right and have made significant contributions to the communities where they lived.
What is Elvira Whats-Her-Name contributing? Is it bigoted of me to ask if she is on welfare (like so many illegals are)? Is she transferring money out of the USA back to Mexico ($10 billion annually are being sent back to Mexico)?
Let them protest and hurt the companies that hire them. That will bring to light how COMPLICIT US businesses are in this problem! And, it will end the protesters employment. Fine the corporations and enforce the law. I don’t want Uncle Sam policing the US workforce because we are allowing people to break the laws.
If we let Mexicans enter the country breaking laws, then what is the incentive for them to obey any law? They are driving without licenses and insurance; so, they expect the US to undermine the laws of each state and grant them *privileges* so some schmuck CEO can make an additional 18 to 20 per cent profit on a head of lettuce?
The Recoquista Movement is using the same tactic US Settlers used prior to the War With Mexico in the 19th century. They squatted on Mexican land and supplanted Mexican rule with their own.
The Mexicans believe it is payback time.
There will indeed be payback. But it will not be the payback they expect (taking over the US southwest.) It will result in the closing of the borders with orders of shoot to kill. Mark my words. Bush is an abberation. The next Presidents will inherit the problem and will have to act drastically, especially following the coming *Hezbollah* attacks on US soil (forget al-Qaeda).
Shoot to kill on the borders….really tough on families…alot tougher on say, going through the legal channels to get into the country.
I am an American Mexican who is standing up for what is right. Ban all illegal MIGRATION and enforce the borders.
Anthony Chavez
Berkeley California
exactly.
Just as insane is the fact any media would actually listen to her, yet alone print the seditious words of a lowly common criminal.
Why don’t they just go to the local jails for some more ‘Pulitzer’ type commentary. Idiots all.
Just a thought…if all of the illegals are demonstrating in DC, seems like a good opportunity for a sweep.
It figures that a Google search on her name reveals “Revoltion: The Voice of the Communist Party”.
Time to impose a 200%+ “Illegal Immigrant” excise tax on everything imported from South of the US border. It should also apply to China, as their numbers are just as high on the illegal immigration side.
I also think that money wired to any country from should be subject to an 80% “Re-patriation” tax if the sender cannot provide legal status here.
Want to send money to Pakistan? Produce your US or Nation of Origin passport. We’ll run a quick check on the passport, and that passport (and Visa Stamp) had better be valid and up to date in the database, or we’ll tax you 80% of what you send, and flag you for apprehension (and track your funding of terrorist organizations!).
You know what happens to American business men (or tourists) that overextend their stay in Germany? The Polizei throw your butt in jail and you owe a 40%+ tax on all earnings from your stay.
And don’t even think about making that mistake in Korea. You go to jail, and the US Consulate can’t even negotiate your butt out! No amnesty (or sanctuary) for you!
Can we move the White House to Mexico? Then they can all march back to where they came from.
I love how all these poor, indigent illegals can’t afford to go back, but they can miss work or travel thousands of miles when “duty” calls.
I find it rather ironic that the Mexican Government is berating the United States for not passing the illegal immigration bill, maybe it is not so ironic after all considering that half of the Mexican GNP is sent to Mexico from the US where 2 in 3 immigrants are illegal. There are a number of issues to be resolved concerning the illegal immigration from Mexico.
1. If there were no jobs they would not come. Kind of the reverse of the “Filed of Dreams”. If we shut down (using existing laws) employers of illegal immigrants, there would not be the incentive to come across the border illegally. Outside of the agriculture business, I cannot believe there is a shortage of unskilled labor.
2. Cut aid to illegal immigrants. If an illegal is in need of assistance, we should gladly assist them home to where they came from. This in the long run would be cheaper and far more effective than supporting them here. I would caveat this with denial of entry to the U.S. at any point in the future.
3. Close down the missions that are offering refuge to illegal immigrants. Sounds rough, but they are illegal, if I were to assist a criminal, I could be arrested for it. How can these organizations get away with assisting illegal immigrants and sending them on to their desired destination. Now, I am not saying that these organizations should be denied the ability to help those illegal’s stranded , but then they should be turned over to the authorities and dealt with properly. I am not against humanitarian aid.
4. Any person caught illegally crossing into the U.S. will be detained for a period of 90 days. Detention will be in Tent Cities similar to the ones run by the Sheriff of Maricopa County, Az. These detention centers will be near the border areas and detainees can and should be used to build the fence between the U.S. and Mexico. The 90 day period will be used by the Federal Authorities to check the background of the detainees and if necessary deport them to appropriate authorities in their country of origin. At the end of the 90 day period the detainees will be deported to their country of origin (see 2 above).
5. Anchor Babies: Reinterpret the 14th Article to the US Constitution to disallow automatic citizenship to children born in the United States to illegal immigrants. If the parents are here illegally, why should their offspring automatically be granted citizenship.
Good, good. We need them to come out in the open to wake up the American people. Mexican culture with its corruption and disrespect for law is not compatible with democracy, which depends on respect for the Constitution and rule of law.
After reading the Wikipedia entry on Elvira, although I completely support it, I’m rather surprised that the government has taken such a hard-line stance. The anchor baby/misinterpretation of the fourteenth ammendment needs to be addressed as much as any other issue.
Illegals have NO RIGHT WHATSOEVER to demand anything, PERIOD!!!
I guarantee you if illegals come out to protest, WE will be arrested for “Hate” crimes or any negative comments we make.
We can be prosecuted while they stand there and watch freely to speak and act with no repercussions.
Why dont they show as much emotion for trying to save their own Country???
In the UK, the authorities predict riots 20 years after each mass migration, so the terrorist youth of today’s UK is no surprise. I’m sure the same is true here–this radicalism is the direct result of the 1986 amnesty, the separate culture they have established, and the separate political machines. They have all coalesced, and the result will not be pretty.
Can we just enforce the exisitng laws, PLEASE? Whats is it going to take?
I’m afraid Holland’s Opus is right. Until illegals resort to terrorist tactics and children are killed, no one will do anything. v Sometimnes it takes a large disaster to open people’s eyes.
This is no longer about “bringing us your tired and poor yearning to breathe free.” This is about the vision of Reconquista .
What a threat!! Gas up the school buses.
Voter recall of every Senator who voted for the Shamnesty bill. Our work is not over yet! RECONQUISTA NO! AMERICAN DEMOCRACY YES!
Chertoff is also commanded by existing law to make sure everybody knows the penalties (1-15 years in prison) for violating Title 8, Section 1324 immigration statutes.
(By the way, after reading this section I was surprised just how stiff the various penalties are against those who aid and abet illegal aliens. It made me even angrier that Skeletor is not enforcing them. Be sure to click the link and read the page.)
TITLE 8 > CHAPTER 12 > SUBCHAPTER II > Part VIII > § 1324 (US Code - Cornell Law Link)
Let them riot; this house is protected by the security firm of Smith and Wesson.
As a law abiding naturalized American, I am frustrated by the attitude of these “illegals” mocking the rule of law. It is not a “right” to come to this great country, it is a great previlege. There is no OTHER nation on earth that welcomes immigrants as long as one goes through proper/legal channels like I did 30yrs ago. I wore my Navy uniform during my naturalization ceremony.Next to me was a Canadian immigrant wearing a U.S. Marine uniform. We raised our right hands, and for the second time in our military career we swore to defend the U.S. Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic. Illegals have for a long time have trashed Our Constitution, therefore they are domestic ENEMIES. I retired from the Navy after Desert Storm. But a Navy Seabee is always a seabee. If a new revolution is what is needed, my guns are loaded and locked.
It simple Elvira, you’re an outlaw. Go to the back of the line and sign up. In your country. At the American Embassy. Take a number and get in line..,
PS: Elvira, in case you missed it, the Legal Americans put up their own resistance. Yeah, I’m the resistance movement: resist lawlessness, resist the coliseum of corruption, resist the political overclass, and power to the Legal People..,
This really bothers me….If she was a legal citizen and had just stolen some groceries to feed her starving children and ran into that church, the police would broken the doors down and shot anyone who got in the way. Instead we get a criminal threatening to “bring this government and this economy to a halt.”
Let’s thank that giant turd, Chertoff..
Well, I think my Senators, and my (D) representive (not holding my breath on his stance being the right one…) will continue to get emails from me about the immigration/border security issue…
And, although I posted this link on the other immigration thread (Mel Martinez), for those of you who missed it, I’m linking again - Mexico’s Glass House. Someone over at the Center for Security Policy has written the first in a series of articles about the Mexican government and THEIR immigration policies. The first one, which I’ve linked to, points out what the Mexican constitution says on that regard, and how much more harsh it is than OUR current laws.
This really is a topsy turvy world when the illegal alien immigrants can tell us what to do in our country and the clowns in DC listen to them. I happen to know a few Hispanics and not one of them was on board with this Shamnesty. I don’t care where the illegals come from-Ireland, Germany, wherever in Europe, they don’t belong here and it’s not a God given right to live in the US. If it’s so lousy here then go back from whence you came and stay your butt there. If only we enforced our border like Mexico does. I am also fearful of a new Civil War within my lifetime. It’s truly outrageous that Elivra has been allowed to live there for nearly a year and a pox on all churches who allow this to happen. If my church should start taking in illegals my money and butt will watch Mass for the shut ins on EWTN.
Sounds like the best thing the Bush administration can do now is use this upcoming march to show he is serious about enforcement. It can’t get easier then all of them gathering for the arresting.
And this is the woman that members of Congress want relief for?!
Give me a friggin break!
H.R. 2182: For the relief of Elvira Arellano, Juan Carlos Arreguin, Martin Guerrero Barrios, Maria…
http://www.govtrack.us/congress/bill.xpd?bill=h110-2182
Otherwise, pro-immigrant organizers will begin a campaign “aimed at bringing this government and this economy to a halt.”
Sounds like undocumented domestic terrorism.
The website wehirealiens.com lists all companies that hire illegals. If you know of a company that hires illegals you can report them to this site, but you need to have your facts correct before they add it to the list.
I tried the WEHIREILLEGALS site and the search does not work, at least not for me.
Seems they’d have the companies listed without us having to put in the names…since we do not know.
Makes no sense.
Any advice on HOW to obtain the information?
Wonder if this has anything to do with what I noticed today at my company’s cafeteria (run by Aramark):
One of the salad stations was closed down, and one of the grill stations was closed too. None of the staff at work were of the Spanish-speaking persuasion.
Thought it might be a “protest” of some kind, and I’m wondering if anybody else out there noticed something similar.
As I recall, the Civil War was longer and bloodier than it otherwise might have been due to one side or the other (notably the North) not pressing on after an initial victory. This may be a lesson for us in the aftermath of the immigration bill going down in flames - that we do not bask in victory at the expense of pressing the advantage.
You can’t legislate for idiots.
The correct link is http://www.wehirealiens.com
(a) Criminal penalties
(1)
(A) Any person who—
(i) knowing that a person is an alien, brings to or attempts to bring to the United States in any manner whatsoever such person at a place other than a designated port of entry or place other than as designated by the Commissioner, regardless of whether such alien has received prior official authorization to come to, enter, or reside in the United States and regardless of any future official action which may be taken with respect to such alien;
(ii) knowing or in reckless disregard of the fact that an alien has come to, entered, or remains in the United States in violation of law, transports, or moves or attempts to transport or move such alien within the United States by means of transportation or otherwise, in furtherance of such violation of law;
(iii) knowing or in reckless disregard of the fact that an alien has come to, entered, or remains in the United States in violation of law, conceals, harbors, or shields from detection, or attempts to conceal, harbor, or shield from detection, such alien in any place, including any building or any means of transportation;
(iv) encourages or induces an alien to come to, enter, or reside in the United States, knowing or in reckless disregard of the fact that such coming to, entry, or residence is or will be in violation of law; or
(v)
(I) engages in any conspiracy to commit any of the preceding acts, or
(II) aids or abets the commission of any of the preceding acts,
In reading the sections of the law, it looks to me like Chertoff, GW and most if not all members of congress are in violation of “aiding or abetting the commission. . .” by merely refusing to enforce the laws as written they are aiding and abetting and subject to penalties.
Who do I talk to about filing a criminal complaint?
Otherwise, pro-immigrant organizers will begin a campaign “aimed at bringing this government and this economy to a halt.”
Go ahead, take your masks off completely.
Let’s see what impact it would have.
And them just go back to your own cesspool of a country Mexico.
Sometimes I just want to say, “Whats the point.”
Up to now I believed President Bush went to Iraq because he thought he was protecting the American people. But if, at the same time, he is going to leave the backdoor open and let God knows who, come and go as they please I have to start doubting his motives for the war. I don’t want to, but this entire thing defies common sense and reason.
Let them riot and watch the blow back that causes.
Now what do you think would happen if an American broke the law in Mexico and tried to hide in a church? We have alot of school buses just sitting and I’m sure the National Guard would not mind providing escorte service. Adios amigos
dmartin - “I don’t want to, but this entire thing defies common sense and reason.”
Once you realize that Bush thinks that Islam is the religion of peace and Mexicans are good hard working folks doing the jobs that lazy Americans won’t do and that he thinks that most Americans are nativist bigots, it all kind of comes together and makes sense.
I have an idea…how about a moritorium on illegal immigration? or, even better, how about a moritorium on ANY immigration until we get a handle on the current problem(s)? How about we reduce the numbers of immigrants from Islamic countries, those folks (for the most part) put their antiquated religion before all else and are more comforatable in a tribal environment then the modern world. I know, I know, I’m a bigot and hateful…so sue me, but I know what I know. We’d have a lot fewer problems if we were more “selective” in our immigration. We can’t continue taking millions and millions of the world’s uneducated and poor, the drain on our society is just too much as well as the negative impact on our culture.
Michelle, you need to use your bully pulpits to keep the pressure on our pathetic government. IMHO we need:
1)a fence
2)enforcement of our laws including withholding of all federal funds to supposed “sanctuary” cities/towns ect.
Only after we get security can we really talk about immigration reform. You can bet that the illegal advocates are gearing up right now to seize the initiative.
It would be a shame to see the momentum that you/we worked so hard to build peter out.
dmartin, It looks like Bush will probably start scaling down the Iraq commitment in the fall. Tony Snow is lowering expectations for General Petraeus’s report, and the Republican Senators will likely increase the pressure on the President, whose political capital is approaching its expiration date.
I’ve the perfect idea for the July 17 march. We start rounding up all of the illegal aliens and use Capital Hill as the holding area. We start with the offices of Lott, Graham, Kennedy so on and so forth. Then wait for the buses to take them back to Mexico.
errah, I can pick her up and give her a ride if need be. Eye eye yi yi . . . .
Unfortunately, the reason I think the US isn’t prophesized to help Israel in the upcoming Gog/Magog conflict is because we’ll be busy with our own Mexi/Commie/Hezbollah invaders and their traitorous US collaborators.
I don’t think I’ve heard Chertoff yet address the issue of good ol’ Hugo Chavez, the Iranian Weirdbeards and Vladimir (Good Soul) Putin working together to walk the Hez (with a new fake accent) right across our friendly southern border. Our government is useless…
I like “Wolverines!” for a battle cry for when the fighting commences.
If a “political activist” is using a church as her platform does that violate the IRS regs? Would the church like to give ups it’s tax exempt status or the activist?
My daughter just sent me these chilling statistics; I do not guarantee the accuracy however; Read and WEEP.
So often, we get caught up in a debate over political semantics and end
up ignoring the hard-shell realities of what we’re talking about.
According to http://immigrationcounters.com/> immigrationCounters.com,
here are some of the realities that the Flake-Gutierrez Bill would
airbrush out of the picture:
Number of Illegal Aliens in the Country
20,807,645
Money Wired to Mexico City since January, 2006
$22,213,001,672.00
Cost of Social Security Services for Illegal Aliens since 1996
$397,450,739,563.00
Number of Children of Illegal Aliens in Public Schools
3,958,789
Cost of Illegal Aliens in K-12 Since 1996:
$13, 965,063,431.00
Number of Illegal Aliens Incarcerated
332,594
Cost of Incarcerations Since 2001
$1,398,127,429.00
Number of Illegal Aliens Fugitives
642,799
Skilled Jobs Taken by Illegal Aliens
9,872,838
Figures can trick your eyes. Take particular note that items 2,3,5, and
7 reflect BILLION not millions of dollars — and that item 3 exceeds
one-third of a TRILLION dollars.
Imagine how much it will cost taxpayers if we triple the number of
Illegals entering this country!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
So, What’s in a Billion?…….
Granted…………….. this is from the US!
The next time you hear a politician use the word “billion” in a casual
manner, think about whether you want the “politicians” spending your tax
money.
A billion is a difficult number to comprehend, but one advertising
agency did a good job of putting that figure into some perspective in
one of its releases.
A. A billion seconds ago it was 1959.
B. A billion minutes ago Jesus was alive.
A billion hours ago our ancestors were living in the Stone Age.
D. A billion days ago no-one walked on the earth on two feet.
E. A billion dollars ago was only 8 hours and 20 minutes, at the rate
our government is spending it.

While this thought is still fresh in our brain, let’s take a look at New
Orleans. It’s amazing what you can learn with some simple division . . .
Louisiana Senator, Mary Landrieu (D), is presently asking the Congress
for $250 BILLION to rebuild New Orleans.
Interesting number, what does it mean?
a. Well, if you are one of 484,674 residents of New Orleans (every man,
woman, child), you each get $516,528.
b. Or, if you have one of the 188,251 homes in New Orleans, your home
gets
$1,329,787.
c. Or, if you are a family of four, your family gets $2,066,012.
Washington, D.C. … HELLO!!! … Are all your calculators broken??
This is too true………These numbers don’t lie………and, it’s not
funny!!!

BAD POLITICIANS ARE ELECTED BY GOOD PEOPLE WHO DON’T VOTE!
hmmm, I believe the term for this is “chutzpah,” right?
Just who do these people think they are? They break the f’n law to get here, and then claim moral authority over born and bred Americans?
How did we elect so many spineless weasels to Washington? I understand there will always be a few, but how did they all end up in leadership positions? We give them power and they repay us by violating their oath to uphold the laws of the nation, and calling us names such as “nativist,” “racist,” etc. It’s all rather pathetic.
Criminals telling law-enforcement where and when but they will not be arrested. I would like just one Senator to tell me why . Numbers ? National Guard.
Transportation ? School buses parked for the summer . Yeah I stole that one from another comment . Gas money ? Do not pay off mexico this year . What am I missing here ?
Elect Tom Tancredo. He will take care of everything, for hard-working tax-paying and honest Americans.
Just another example of the rule of law slowly breaking down. When any group decides what laws to obey you can bet other groups are watching and plotting.
Hm. It seems to me that the definition of illegal nationals from other countries attempting to destroy the United States with the blessing of their home government was the word “war”.
Go ahead. Let them protest, provided we send down about 10,000 nation guardsmen with rubber bullets and tear gas and round them all up.
The big problem, of course, is cultural. Mexicans generally hold the “revolutionaries” in high historical esteem. It makes perfect sense that they would try to force their will upon others in the same way. Especially so, since the people in question have no seeming respect for our law - at best, only a kind of sneaky fear.
We can’t send back 12 million illegals? Well, not in an hour, no, but if we start getting 500 and 1000 at a time …
Sure they’re just good people, hiding in the shadows that Americans won’t hide in.
These immigration activests make it so easy. We’re probably going to have to file a lawsuit to make Chertoff and Bush enforce our nations laws but that’s OK too. I’m also thinking that the consumer holds the upper hand in this anyway. We can boycott lettuce and other veggies that Chertoff claims must have illegal workers. Big drop in sales equals less need for illegal workers. Don’t hire out any jobs to companies who are going to send out illegals to do the work. I recently had my roof redone and I told every company that I wanted that in the contract and would be checking documents. I ended up with an all legal crew at the same price that companies using illegals quoted.
OMG! There goes the price of lettuce. What about the children? What about Chertoff?
Bring it on!! AND, while I’m at it, I’m letting it be known to those American farmers who say they’ve moved 20% of their operations to Mexico because they can’t get help…I have refused to buy Mexican produce for years and will continue that practice!
why, oh why is this woman not deported yet. And now she’s basically calling for open rebellion against the United States of America. A foreigner who is here illegally is trying to issue ‘deadlines’ to our government. And we do nothing. This is just embaressing
For those of you that think that Chertoff is doing nothing, you are wrong. He has consistently supported the subagency, the TSA, in it quest to inconvience and in every way distroy the Fourth Amendment on those trying to get on an airplane. Just so that Muslim’s and terroist do not feel put out. In short he is hell on little old ladies.
Cong. Loretta Sanchez is supporting the resistance at her local congressional office, with illegal alien students kicking off their hunger strike there. Shame on her! Hunger Strike Kickoff
Some of you guys are so smart! What a good idea for our National Guard to drive school busses full of demonstrating illigals on down to old Mexico.
Whoever said to cease payments for Mexican oil is spot on, too.
Something so gloriously simple could truly work.
She sounds like a reasonable lady, maybe she will compromise. If the other 12,000,000 illegal aliens would join her in the church, then they wouldn’t be deportable either. By the way, does Chertoff have the address for the church?
The other day I heard a great piece of advice from someone connected to Disneyland. They\’ve been in the crowd business for years and years. If you turn off the lights and the rides, everyone goes home. Works for me!!
What I suspect will happen is soon there will be a civil war and uprising in areas where there are heavy hispanic populations, for ex. L.A., Dallas, Houston, Chicago, etc. a lot of violence will occur, there has already been hispanics shooting at a 7/11 store simply because they do not like the hat that the clerk was wearing. Soon we will hear of more incidents of this kind of violence from hispanics and it will start to boil and simmer until there is a real battle. This is the whole plan, this is what Bush wants so he can call for a National emergency and inact Marshall law and he will create a Police state, he has been allowing this invasion to take place so that he can have total control over this country and who knows what he is going to do with the Americans, probably put us in concentration work camps like Hitler did to the Jews, because his loyalty is to Mexico and the Mexicans, not the U.S. and certainly not the American people. You see how mad he is over this and you heard his buddy Chertoff.
Vaquera:
Please use a little more tin foil when constructing your next beanie. It’s obvious this one isn’t working very well.
How about having a bunch of those white vans with gov plates waiting at the end of all those marches? Not only continue the raids but step them up.
When is the rally to have Federal Government do their job and deport Elvira? It’s very easy, all they have to do is go to the church and get her, she has an order of deportation, why are they allowing her to stay and not the others that have been order deported, why is this gal so special, what makes her the exception and not like the other illegal Mexicans that are on buses right this very second because the government is deporting them and not her, seems pretty unfair to me and this is a very inconsistent method from the Feds, she is getting a free pass and why is she so privileged and special, what’s up with that? If I were an illegal I would be pointing that out, I want the “Elvira” treatment and demand that they take me to that church so I could receive that special favoritism, if it is good enough for Elvira it is good enough for the others.
Campaign of resistance eh?
I wonder if it’ll be as impressive as their showing at the polls after the last series of protests they held. What was it again in Cali? Oh yeah, 0% change in Hispanic voter turnout from prior year.
Heh, I hope that was meant to sound as crazy as it does, cuz I needed the laugh.
Oh, off topic, (somehow the quote made me think of it) but today I saw my first Ron Paul bumper sticker.
