Moreover, NO OTHER CANDIDATE in EITHER PARTY has a MORE CREDIBLE stand against the terrorists than this man. McCain will make a great VP pick in my view. Additionally, I do have serious concerns that — apart from charming good looks and a deep voice — Fred Thompson may well yet prove to be largely an empty suit who will be trampled into the dust by the Democrats in the general election, should he win the nomination. Thompson is no great conservative (CHECK HIS RECORD!) and has two lobbyists for sons — and he warns against the “dangers” of “protectionism” — hmmmmm. Sounds like the Son of NAFTA and the Father of the NAU to me. Moreover, Fred is clueless about revising the tax code and eliminating the IRS.

Maybe Thompson makes you feel that way on account of that 1 in 4 GOP Senators who voted Bill Clinton NOT GUILTY of PERJURY in a deposition taken LIVE ON AIR before an INTERNATIONAL audience, then a few weeks ago, declared that perjury a “TRIVIAL MATTER” that would not rise to the level of impeachment in the view of the Founding Fathers, whom he claimed in the same breath to have studied intensively.
