Zawahiri is dangerous not merely because of the hate he spews but because tens of millions so rabidly take it for gospel. I truly fear for the women and girls over there who’ve tasted the western world if this monster’s ilk takes over. I’ve had a rabid Moslem in my family and their hyper-macho over females is truly appalling and frightening.

It’s really no joke to say that the westernized heads of rebellious wives, sisters and daughters over there are literally going to roll if we arbitarily pull out of there.

I agree. While it may be nice to say that changing our daily lives to some degree gives the terrorists what they want, we can’t lose sight of the fact that this isn’t a battle over simple pride. When the other side is willing to utilize self-sacrificing idiots to inflict damage on a large scale while cowering behind civilians and other soft targets, I’d rather change my routine and cover the bases even if it means they would gloat about my having changed said routine.

If Dr. Z is truly so confident in our inability to act, he wouldn’t still be sending broadcasts from a safe, hidden location.

I want the place where their drawing board is to become a giant smoking crater just as they arrive. Send a message, just like when we got Zarqawi, only X10. Then, we bounce the rubble a couple of times and send in the forensics teams so we can have our dead terrorist confirmation. Just a little bit of timely intel is all it would take to set the thing in motion. Like where that studio is that’s making these tapes. If we’re lucky, we might get two martyrs for the price of one, if OBL is anywhere around. One can dream, and that is my dream.

Absolutely chilling.

These soulless killers have a knack for making the blood run cold, don’t they? And of course, you have to take them at their word. Not to do so would be madness.

They know this which gives them a lot of satisfaction (while driving the left in this country and Europe batty because we’re “obsessed” with terrorism). To my mind, it’s always been a question of being safe rather than sorry. If preparing for the worst makes al-Qaeda feel good, I could care less.
