Osama bin Laden is fond of saying, “When the people see a strong horse and a weak horse, they go with the strong horse.” When Musharraf made his deal with the tribes, he not only admitted hia weakness, he also knifed us in the back.

As for the 60 nukes, it has been widely reported, even going back before 9/11, that the radicals have already infiltrated the Pakistani military.

However, even if every word you say is the Gospel truth, how will the Bushies or their successors explain away their inaction to the victims of the next Al Qaeda outrage against us without coming across as helpless losers?

Christinewjc, I do not proclaim this is a presidential coverup. We had at least 4 reports of the ‘possible’ death of Bin Laden, only one of which (as I recall) was verified to ‘not’ to be him. AQ & the Taliban drag the bodies away and dispose of them very quickly. The administration would not report a death that could not be verified. There are those, myself included, that would not risk personnel, or their families, by identifying their connection with the ‘possible’ death of a high value target. I would not report the death as anything more than terrorist casualty. In conclusion, I am not a consiracy theory type. However, knowing what I know, taking into account the number of times AQ attacked us, how little the media supports us, how quickly public interest wanes, at that time and place I would have been sorely tempted to keep the boogieman alive. Only the few people directly involved would ever know.

There’s a very good reason Musharraf won’t let NATO operate in those areas; if western soldiers step one foot in Pakistan the radicals will have a million people in the streets calling for Musharraf’s head. At that point, a takeover of the government by the Taliban backers – and Pakistan’s 60 nuclear weapons – is a real possibility.

Pakistan is a tinder box, hanging on the knife’s edge. Yes, Musharraf was weak to make that deal with the tribes. But most people at the time didn’t think it would last anyway. Now the chickens have come home to roost and Musharraf is forced to fight a war in the most treacherous, inhospitable geography in the world.

Carpet bomb if it makes you feel better. Just take responsibility when some of those Pakistani nukes end up in the wrong hands.

I wonder just HOW MANY ILLEGALS here are actually terrorists, living, working, going to school, shopping, and are being used to strike us very soon.

Think about this; They are taking over our country quickly….do you think the OBL terrorists are targeting them? I don’t think so, but they’ll use them.
