YOU saw it with your OWN EYES, you FELT it in your heart and stomach. YOU KNOW the TRUTH, and it is not some sick Michael Moore movie to trash America. Maybe a huge sign saying something like that would let the people know you are not some tin foil mad hatter left wing loon! The one thing they all have in common, they all think Michael Moore's alleged documentaries are truth without exaggeration. I have to agree with db, I generally ignore anyone handing out pamphlets. I would suggest a sandwich board sign with something about what's in the pamphlet. Else hawking the truth. Among young people, an astonishing 17% believe the government had a hand in 9/11. Trying to counter the effects of trutherism on the internet, in popular culture, and elsewhere is a monumental task that would require years of patient work and probably some big time Hollywood movie. There's talk that David Zucker has been asked to direct such a project - a real blockbuster with stars galore. But it will take some cultural event like that to counter the lies and paranoia of the truthers. Or at least slow their momentum so that in 10 years we'll be forced to abandon the war on terror because so many Americans believe it never existed in the first place. I’d like to say that this project would help but frankly, it’s too late.
