What about all the other thousands of times it has rained in that spot in NYC? How come it blew up now? There was hardly any rain that day anyway. More like a drizzle. But we can all bet lunch that the CEO of Con Edison won't even be fired, let alone commit hari-kari. It happened right around the corner from one of the biggest creators of traffic congestion in NYC. Will Mayor Bloomberg do anything about Park Ave. being blocked off at 42nd street? If he cares so much about traffic jams, congestion and air pollution, why does he let Park Avenue be blocked off? Our tax dollars are being spent and lives are being lost to stand between factions in a civil war. The money is Iraq can be better spent to provide universal health care.
