In the no-spin zone

By Michelle Malkin  •  July 20, 2007 05:40 PM

I’ll be subbing tonight on The O’Reilly Factor. Tune in at 8pm Eastern. We’ll be talking John Doe and criminal alien deportation, among other topics. In light of the John Doe debate, I suggested that the show re-broadcast O’Reilly’s 2001 interview with actor James Woods, who you’ll recall was on a Boston-to-Los Angeles flight in August 2001 that was a suspected dry run for the 9/11 attacks. Four of the Middle Eastern passengers on Woods’ flight, he was told, were 9/11 al Qaeda operatives.

It’s worth watching just for that.

    Ms. Malkin,

I wrote a column today explaining that Moveon.org has every right to be liberal, but they must drop the hatred. I am a conservative republican Jew who does not hate liberals. I disagree with them.

I received a piece of antisemitic hate mail justifying why Bush in fact does equal Hitler.

    http://blacktygrrrr.wordpress.com/2007/07/20/moveonorg-needs-to-just-move-on/

I did not want to cut and paste the comments due to length, but comment # 6 from “southern voice” is what I am referring to as hate speech.

I want you and everybody else in this world to club Moveon.org and Daily Kos over the head with this stuff. Until those within the organizations root out their cancerous elements, it is perfectly fair to paint a broad brush.

I want leftists to be forced to defend such remarks.

It is not that these organizations are liberal. it is that they are simply bad people.

Sorry to bother you, but your platform allows you to better society more than I can at this time.

I will tivo O’Reilly tonight since I will be at a Shabbos dinner. I am sure you will do well, but good luck anyway!

Last night’s O’Reilly was almost a final episode for me (they’ve been had by the Aruban authorities with a phony story and one that is unverifiable)…if you have Boo-hoo-Geraldo on I may still turn it. No, I’d keep watching just to see how badly he behaves.

As heartsick as anyone can feel for Natalee Holloway’s parents, enough is enough is enough.

For months and months, the Fox News lineup read as follows:

    5pm–The O’Holloway Factor
    6pm–Holloway and Colmes
    7pm–Greta Van Der Sloot

    This is not hard news.

I apologize to the relatives of this poor girl for appearing insensitive…but every minute spent on this story is not spent on hard news.

After a lovely Friday night Shabbos dinner, I just finished watching O’Reilly at this hour. I normally watch the whole show in 20 minutes because I skip Anna Nicole or Natalee Holloway stories.

This show was 100% news. Ms. Malkin, well done. Excellent job.

However, to be fair, the very best segment was Mr. O’Reilly interviewing James Woods. I had never seen it before.

Also, Ms. Malkin, with regards to the antisemitic comments I received on my blog earlier today, I sent them to Moveon, Kos and Huffingtonpost to see if they would send me an email disavowing them. We shall see.

I also sent them to you, Hugh Hewitt, Republican Jewish Coalition and Chabad, so that this moonbat can be dealt with by those who specialize in dealing with such miscreants.

Hmm. ANOTHER “rev” and his filibustering, racial act. Good grief. Cut them off; you’re a racist in their eyes no matter what, so why hand the show to him? Michelle had the same look we all get when we try to argue with a liberal. Even though you know exactly how it’s going to go, you’re always shocked that it goes that way. Great show and was more than amused by the nutjob Rev.. The saddest thing to me is the stand Rainbow has chosen on illegal immigration (if the gasping Rev. is any indication of their current view) while the NAACP is looking more toward immigration control and asking the questions why their young people are out of jobs, under employed, or not finding the coveted slots at universities and colleges they once did. I think it’s a travesty black leaders have failed to connect the dots and ignored the problems. Saddled with the burden of supporting a “third world nation within a nation” opportunities for our young have disappeared, be it black, white or asian. Thanks for allowing him to keep talking until he buried his own argument. Am I the only one noticing each time the good Rev. was through with his little phillibuster the smirky puffed up grin?

Livingston Was Simply Staking Out As Sharpie’s Heir Apparent

Look, no rocket science; Sweet and simple, Livingston was willfully making a pain of himself hogging air time to be more noticed on the line for Sharpton’s highly “activist popular” lucrative throne. The fame! The recognition! The respect! The bucks! The “cookies”! Who wants to stay some street rev in a Chicago backwater when you’ve a chance at the national brass ring by making a blustery media race hustler/huckster of yourself? Livingston wasn’t pushing a sincere agenda. He was simply staking a media toehold for himself as a new race card Joker– exactly as Sharpton did. The way to prevent creating such monsters is for the media NOT to feel obliged to run to them for comments on any race matters (why, I’ll never understand!); there’re lots of fish in the sea!
