“Zina died from a blow to the head”

Update: Prosecutors not seeking the death penalty.

Murder charges filed this afternoon against Terapon Adhahn:

Prosecutors charged a convicted sex offender Monday with kidnapping, raping and killing Zina Linnik, a 12-year-old girl who was snatched from an alley behind her family’s home during a July 4th fireworks celebration.
According to the charging documents, Terapon Dang Adhahn led investigators to the girl’s body.

Zina died from a blow to the head, according to papers filed in Superior Court. Her body was found near Silver Lake in rural Pierce County, and authorities say Adhahn’s DNA was found on her.

Adhahn, a Thai immigrant, was scheduled to be arraigned later Monday. Pierce County Prosecutor Gerald Horne has not said whether he intends to seek the death penalty.

Zina was seized from behind her family’s home during a Tacoma fireworks display on July 4. Investigators said her father saw a gray van, and that his partial recollection of the license plate helped them track down Adhahn at a home south of Tacoma.

During their investigation, detectives said they uncovered two other victims: one who was kidnapped on her way to school in 2000 and another who lived with Adhahn as a teen. Adhahn is charged with rape in those cases, as well as failing to register as a sex offender. He pleaded not guilty to those counts on Thursday.

Here are the charging papers.

So this guy is a 3 time rapist and killer? so not only should he have been deported after his first crime, he was able to kill three others. Are there more? He is charged with Rape in the other two cases? Why not murder?

Unbelievable. Astounding. God Help this Country.

Where’s the apology from Geraldo? Geraldo, it’s your delusion that this is not an immigration problem. However, the longer we have a revolving door the more these people are going to rape and kill our children.

Niether of the other 2 girls he is charged with raping were murdered.

He is being investigated in the abduction and killing of another girl and if he did that one I hope they can prove it and I hope they charge him with her murder as well.

The death penalty is too good for this scumbag but I guess that is the best I can hope for.

As the father of a girl living in Washington I guess I can be glad there is one less danger to her on the streets in this state.

Anything connected to immigration or deportation seems to be broken when even the worst of the subhuman slime is overlooked post-release from prison. A workshop in Fresno recently for illegals wanting to avoid deportation warned that even a conviction for domestic violence for legal immigrants can be cause for deportation. So what gives with the rapist murderers slipping away?

The prosecutor in Pierce County (where Tacoma is located) announced that he bargained with Adhahn (without the family’s knowledge) to not seek the death penalty if the killer would reveal where the girl’s body was located. The prosecutor claimed that he was hoping to find the girl alive when the deal was struck.

A number of serial killers in Washington state have gotten a pass on the death penalty in exchange for revealing details of their killings. Gary Ridgeway (Green River Killer), Robert Yates (Spokane Serial killer that may have killed in Tacoma as well). That has set a huge precedent of letting someone who kills 10 to 50 people to get away with not being put to death, so when killers have lower body counts their lawyers claim that they are being treated differently.

It is disappointing that the prosecutors have taken this tactic in dealing with serial killers/rapists/etc. but they rationalize it is for the family.

Another young girl was murdered a couple of years ago, Adhahn is being investigated on that murder and the prosecutor claims that the death penalty is NOT off the table for that murder.

Who freakin’ cares? If the victim is dead, all deals are off. Why should the state keep its word to killers and rapists? The best they can hope for is life in prison and if they are in the general population it won’t last long.

We should have an amnesty for sex criminals and serial killers so we can “bring them out of the shadows.” Wouldn’t it be better to know where these people are? If they are illegal aliens, they might be afraid to register as child molesters and serial killers for fear of deportation, so they should be put on a fast track to citizenship.

Also, I heard on a morning talk show (today) that a mother in Ft. Worth TX actually sent her 12 year-old daughter to live with this monster because she could’nt cope with the child’s misbehavior. I’m checking this out and will let you know what I find.

Why do I have the feeling that, if true, the mom isn’t from this country?

    Skeptic,

I live in Spokane Valley, The People’s RepubliK of Washington.

In Spokane County, Robert Yates got a deal when he told authorities that the bodies of one of the missing women was buried in his yard right outside his window and also admitted 2 murders almost 2 decades prior he was never a suspect in. He plead guilty to 13 murders and in this county alone he was not charged with 2 others that were “held out” in case he backed out of the deal.

Yates was then convicted of 2 murders in Pierce County and was sentenced to death for those crimes.

I certainly hope that the prosecutor in this case did not cut a deal in order to find out where the body was. This cretin needs to be removed from society permanently.
