It is true, lazy would be the word sigh these are not our parent's socialist.

I am reminded of something that was in print during the Reagan Years: There is always a backlash, when the country moves in one direction, so far from one political idealogy to another. In our Country's case after 9/11 we moved to the Right. (rightfully so in my opinion) Now there will be a backlash from the Left but you know the backlashes are never as strong as the first one. These are not your parent's Pinkos.

Not Quite The Last Word On ScottScam...

TNR's editorial process is badly flawed, and in running this series, they not only got more than they bargained for, but besmirched the US Army based on the fabrications of a soldier who was provided an unfettered outlet for his fictionalized account....

#82 Good point, maybe we'll see comrade beauchamp running for office and marrying a wealthy widow to pay for his extravagant lifestyle in the stockade.

Have to wonder though if a democrat will follow carter's example and upgrade any OTH, DH, or BCD discharges in the future?...just my humble thoughts.

The left are the ones committing the vicious lies, but the right is to blame for having awful public relations. We need to stop being so gracious, and verbally belt them across the chops like they do to us. Every time they lie we have to quickly call them on it.

It is like killing roaches. There will always be more, but letting them fester and breed and spread their misinformation is only going to make it worse.

Respectfully,

eric www.blacktygrrrr.wordpress.com

MM: Rick Moran offers a cautionary note, to which I respond by re-linking Bryan Preston on why military bloggers and veterans care.

Thank you, Michelle, for re-stressing what this really means to the people out there who just don't get it.

I expect the left to downplay why it is bad to falsely slander our military, I just don't expect it from people (RM) supposedly on the right. Funny how the MSM and military-hating left foam at the mouth over any hint of a story where Americans do bad things. Why is the fervor to slander our military applauded while the fervor to spread the truth in the face of lies is denigrated?

The blogs have done a good thing in aggressively destroying this shameful attempt to damage the reputation and character of our fighting force.
