Mrs. Malkin and loyal community 您好! Surely the Weasel Zippers / Asia Times entry is at once the most important and the most hopeful item today in this well-regarded news medium. Hopefully as well, due consideration of the import of the articles concerned will be as a ripple in the pond that travels far. Such hope is helpful when the trials of being a witness to the Good News are so evident, as in Afghanistan at this hour.

Thank you for your continued good work, on this medium, and also elsewhere by report!

A few observations:

1. China's government has already made a direct transition from communism to fascism. In other words, let the merchants bloom as long as the ruling class stays in absolute control.

2. If the rulers see Christianity as a threat, they will persecute, as they have the Falun Gong.

3. Northwest China (Sinjiang Province) is already Muslim, and should Wahhabis make trouble, the authorities will deal with them as they do with Tibet.

4. Evangelical Christianity has been scoring noteworthy successes in Africa and South America, as well as China.

I bookmarked this article. It brought tears of joy to my eyes. Thank you for bringing it to my awareness.

China is the wild card. As China goes so goes the rest of the world. India is important, but China is essentially the blank slate with influence. I will be praying for all of them. I hope this article is true.

It's all about spreading the Gospel and letting the Holy Spirit work. Christianity is the only intellectually honest faith in the world that transcends borders, races, economic status, gender. Salvation for all and a gift for anyone willing to hear and receive.

I used to wonder why Jesus called himself the Truth. But its importance came to me several years ago. It's all about Truth. The Truth will set the world's people free.

Thank you for sharing the article. It made my year.

The Chinese will know how to handle troublesome muslems. They just shot one of thier own politicions a few weeks ago for taking bribes. I don't think Rage Boy would have a very bright future there; but I'm not about to start hugging commies just yet. The Government runs everything in China they'll put thier own spin on Chistianity if they see it gettting in the way of Communism, Probably make Mao the forth guy in the Trinity or something. In the mean time they have a 2,000,000 something army, and are spending billions on new weapon systems, not to mention sending us poison food and toys by the shipload. Be careful what you wish for.

Now, if we could just get those idiotic secularists in Europe and the Americas to defend Western culture, which just happens to include Christianity, we would all be better off.

First you might want to try convincing them that lighting other people's cars on fire is a no-no.

This is a very touching story and a testament to God's mercy and love.

Here it's important to remember that the difference between Christianity and Islam (since someone asked about Wahabbi schools) is that Christianity sees the relationship with God as a loving one. We call God "Father" (hence the "Our Father" prayer). The same cannot be said for other religions - Islam sees God as a slavemaster.

I pray for the people of China, and for all persecuted Christians throughout the world.

The reason communists fear religion is that it gives people hope and puts God in the position of highest power, whereas communism (or atheism, or secularism) puts man first and last.

What a wonderful report. I love it. And what a nightmare to the secular left in the mainstream media: thousands of sympathetic socialists converting to - gasp - Christianity. The MSM will never report this one because there is no way for them to get a handle on it in a way which promotes their agendas, and that's as funny as the human part of the story is heartwarming.

Pulchritudinous Patriot,

Yes, we are already in a religious/cultural war.

There will be more.

The Christians haven't really started fighting back yet.

I at least don't consider the current administration as being Christians fighting back. It's more like seculars appeasing.
