I’ll be on Fox and Friends at approx. 8:40am today to talk about my column on sanctuary cities and criminal illegal aliens and related matters.
As longtime readers know, I am not a morning person. Downing a tall caramel macchiato right now, but I doubt it’ll do much for the bags under my eyes.

As I recall from the one time I saw you do a guest hosting on Fox & Friends, you still did well - although you made it clear that pleas for further such appearances would meet with stiff resistance.
And I haven’t seen you on F&F ever since.
Just the opposite here on the Left Coast; ask me to get up at 3:00 AM, no problem. Ask me to stay up past 11:00 PM, big problem.

I watched and was glad they devoted as much time as they did to allow MM to get her points across. FOX drives me nuts by the host endlessly spewing off something they just read on a teleprompter(sp?) then telling the guest expert, “sorry we’re out of time, but we’ll have you back soon.” F&F’s had the wherewithall to let MM do what she does best.
Superb rebuttal to Sacramento caller about ’strident rhetoric’ of border enforcers Michelle. Spot on…We’re far beyond having to worry about ’strident rhetoric’ at this point, we’re at critical mass right now for heaven’s sake…

I was watching her on Hannity and Colmes the other night, sorry I spelled her name wrong.
Laura thinks it makes good sense for both the Republican and the Democrat Party to pander to the extreme in their bases. This came up in the discussion about Harold Ford Jr., vs KOS on Meet the Press. I very much disagree with her.
Did anyone else catch her on Hannity & Colmes, it was the same night Harold Ford Jr., was on.
I still think Michelle better.
Hannity clashes with Geraldo

Man, I just love it when Michelle gives it to Geraldin-o. Of course, she has way too much material to work with in him!

I wouldn’t say Laura Ingraham is “dim”; she’s certainly highly intelligent.
That being said, having had many opportunties to listen to her show during my morning commute (until the radio station switched to Spanish-language programming), I found her to be the weakest of the “big-name” talk show hosts that I’ve heard.
What bothered me were her too-frequent forays into juvenile behavior: goofy sound effects repeated ad nauseam and making fun of people’s names were two things that became very old, very fast. Typically, I could only endure her for a few minutes before I’d get so fed up that I’d change the station or pop in a CD.
Which was too bad, because when she could stay focused she could do some very good interviews with her guests.
It’s Geraldo’s over-the-top, ultra-drama queen, feigned righteous indignation that can be so grating…but that’s just me.
I think it’s that creature on his upper lip.

You don’t have to be so harshly negative on Laura to like Michelle better….
I’ve listened to Laura and Michelle for years and I’m thinking you are “reporting” something she said out of context. Laura also does humor and contrasting bits.. You might’ve missed her point.
I would reserve the word “dim” for people who really don’t get it - like most liberals who can’t understand economics 101 to save their lives….
To further expand on Regulus’ comments. I’d agree that Laura could lighten up on the sound effects or other things. While I LOVE Michael Medved and Dennis Prager because of their intellect and great perspective on most topics and I learn a lot from them —- I recognize that Laura is having fun and her show appeals to a lot of people and Dennis and Michael’s shows might be grabbing other sets of people’s attention.
Accept what is. Laura doesn’t deserve to be judged harshly negative - and she certainly isn’t harmful to America.

Twice on Hannity and Colmes, I have watched Laura and maybe Dim is too harsh, each time she turned me off.
The time before this, Laura was having some disagreement with Hannity, she didn’t come back after the commerical break. I have watched Michelle for awhile, I have not witnessed her leaving a program until her participation was over.
I do not agree with Laura’s position on the Dem Party and pandering to KOS their extreme left fringe. I believe the extreme fringe is already predisposed to voting their political idealogy. I don’t think KOS should be enabled, encouraged or mainstreamed because when you feed something it “Grows” and come the National Elections, you will have unchecked a Full Blown KOS, with a veneer of crediblity and legitmacy. KOS will be one of the many arms of the Dem party that will be attacking the Republican Canidate, this will not be helpful. The soft moderate mushy middle, that Laura remarked about, these are the people come the National Election, who may be “The Swing Vote” not married to a political idealogy like the fringe, do I think the Republicans, should alienate them. My answer is no.

There is NOT a talk show host that hasn’t turned me off on some topic because I felt they weren’t up to par or something. I’ve been very politically aware since 1991 and some topics I’ve studied extensively so I recognize that I’ll have a different perspective than others on a variety of subjects and they’ll turn me off. But I keep tuning in. Laura has a good heart and is mostly right on.
I DO agree with Laura’s view that they should pander to KOS and their extreme left fringe. For years they have voted that way and then have HIDDEN where their allegiance was. Now they are being more brazen about it and I’m happy about that. Moderates in this country can now SEE who they are voting for when they vote for a Democrat.
For sure KOS shouldn’t be enabled. His ideology needs to be defeated and resoundingly. The way to do that is for his views to be heard and coddled openly by Democrats so they can be defeated. They are dangerous ideas.

It was a pleasent surprise this morning to wake up and see you giving them hell about illeagals, and your eyes looked great. Keep up the pressure, and I agree with you,Geraldo should take his whinning liberal @$$ back to Al Capones safe, and stay there.
Michelle, as usual is on the track and more power to her. However, remember that the real threat is from those who have facilitated the following:
- Open borders.
- Welcome anyone crossing Grande.
-Jobs Americnas don’t do.
- Willing woeker / willing employer.
- Mexican family values.
- Crap like “OTM”.
- Matricula Consular card.
- Can’t deport them all.
- Cost of lettuse will be too high.
- Business will come to a stop.
- Crap like Sanctuary cities’.
- Crap like ‘Day laborors’.
A closer look and a lot, if not all, came from Vicente Fox’s amigo Jorge Bush, who happens to be the president / comander-in-chief of USA. You do the math.

Ya looked like you’d been chewing on nails for breakfast, Michelle; even that wonderful smile you ordinarily break at the beginning and end of a FOX segment was more like a grimace. Suffice it to say, if I ever managed to provoke your anger, I sure am glad I’m on the opposite side of the country from you :).

Got in late from work for my two cents worth. Yes, Michelle, you don’t look like your epervesant self at that hour. The caramel macchiato didn’t seem to help. If it did, I wouldn’t want to have seen you without one! In any case, with bags, very serious look & all, you are right on mark and command attention. What time do you go to bed?
