Michael Vick: “What I did was totally immature and so that means I need to grow up”
The press conference is live: Apologizes to everyone. “I’m totally responsible.” Rejects pointing fingers and blaming others. “Dogfighting is a terrible thing. Through this situation, I found Jesus. I ask him for forgiveness and turn myself over to God…I offer my deepest apologies to everyone in the world who was affected by this…”
Addresses all the young kids: “Use me as an example to make better judgments and better decisions…I will redeem myself. I have to.”
No questions taken.

Which paragraph are you predicating “Lighten up on Vick a little” on? The first one with your twisted logic about the value of brain development and the likening of slapping a mosquito, and hunting deer to the depraved manner in which Vick killed dogs? Or the second where you claim that you don’t condone dog fighting but don’t like pit bulls so it was ok for Vick to, eh hem, “put them to sleep”.
