Longtime readers are familiar with the investigative work of undercover Internet researcher Zombie, whose in-depth reports and photo essays I link to frequently.

Zombie has filed a new report on an important war on terror case that has flown under the radar, Al-Haramain Islamic Foundation v. George W. Bush.

Read it.

“…Does the United States Government have the right to conduct secret surveillance of terrorism suspects on American soil? …”

Naturally, no. We should just let them come and go as they please and after they blow up a few things and kill a bunch of people, again, we should ask them nicely what we can do to placate them and see just how far we should bend over all in the name of PC.

Deport them all at the end of a bayonet.

I still have mine and it is quite sharp.

This DAV is way passed Sick and Tired of this PC garbage.

Oregon, Ninth Circuit, the usual suspects. One would assume SCOTUS would rule for the government. I’m with Snooper here, the idea that someone would even ask if the government has the right to watch terrorist suspects is stupefying.

The names and affiliated news organizations of each reporter seen walking away from the government lawyer should be publicized. Let’s get this bias front and center.

Great job of reporting by Zombie.

The root problem is chamberpot immigration.

I see no chance of ending chamberpot immigration. Indeed, the government will probably bring in 100-200 million more chamberpot immigrants in the next twenty years.

The question then becomes do we want freedom or security? The sheeple seem inclined to security over freedom.

    Interesting case.

It is unfortunate that the Congress did not expeditiously grant and let stay in force clear and strong rights to surveil foreign nationals, after 9-11, in addition to Patriot Act rights, and enact harsh punishments to those who leak secrets about our surveillance programs and other counter-terrorist programs (NY Times). But I don’t know such law well: perhaps The NYT could have charged with treason or something similar?

I read this the other day over from over at LGF. Does anyone have a guess, as to which way the 9th circuit will rule on this case?

    Heads up, SCOTUS.

Great post. The terrorists use our laws to further their agenda. Why does the United States government not round up these terrorists, and give them a firing squad? Just asking.
