Tuesday Factor

By Michelle Malkin  •  September 4, 2007 02:02 PM

I’ll be on The O’Reilly Factor tonight at 8pm Eastern. The subject is Brian De Palma’s anti-war porn movie, “Redacted.”

As far as I know, there will be no talk about Geraldo’s hateful threat to spit on me.

I wish you didn’t even have to talk about this movie or any other of the anti military garbage coming out of Hollywood. Maybe you can compare it to the Turkish movie with Gary Bussey. The title escapes me right now but it was something to do with Valley of the Wolves ar something lke that.
    Anyway best of luck.

Spittlegate is probably best handled internally, even though Geraldo felt it necessary to say that to the Washington Post. It should be on Geraldo now to apologize publicly for his “Hate Comments”

Michelle, you are waaay in the right on this one. But even mentioning the mustache’s name gives him legitimacy he doesn’t deserve.

Take the high road on this one. The G man will hang himself when you give him enough rope. His attack on you gave you more pub anyway so it is actually a good thing (as good as a vile threat can be).

I’m excited you’ll be doing the ‘factor’ again though. Thanks for the heads up!

Or maybe you can ‘borrow’ a Keith Olbermann segment and make him today’s “WORST PERSON IN THE WORLD”…

    Have a great show, Michelle!

There are a couple of things that are not being given enough coverage one MEXICAN TRUCKS AND TRUCK DRIVERS coming into the country.

The other is Pakistan are they melting down? What starts in Pakistan seems to end in Western Countrys. We have had these blips in the news like the scouting of the Ferry in Washington, these Egyptian Students with explosives, Goose Creek. Who are we not picking up on our radar?

The Anti War Crowd has to get in their final shots because God forbid, things are turning around in Iraq. My husband is in the Army and he says the same thing everytime when asked. Why Fight because these people are at War with us. Open your wallet, look at the photos of your children or grandchildren, we can FIGHT them now or our children and grandchildren, will be Fighting them in 10 years. Then again they will be much better organized and they could possibly be armed with WMDS who do we want our Children to be Fighting?

#3 AJ–I hope Bill O and Fox do say something to Geraldo about it behind the scenes. What an unhappy place to work if they laugh off threats from one employee to spit on another. Fox News is a young network and they need to be on their game professionally and show that they’re about serious news and their correspondents are news professionals and not pampered celebrities who throw tantrums.

Laree #8–I left a question for you about your Gene Stipe link in the “knock Billy Boy Down With A Straw” thread.

    “What is personal protective
    equipment?
Personal protective equipment, or PPE, is
designed to protect employees from serious
workplace injuries or illnesses resulting from
    contact with chemical, radiological, physical,
    electrical, mechanical, or other workplace
hazards. Besides face shields, safety glasses,
hard hats, and safety shoes, PPE includes a
variety of devices and garments such as goggles,
    coveralls, gloves, vests, earplugs, and
    respirators.
What are your responsibilities as an
    employer?
OSHA’s primary PPE standards are in Title
29 of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR),
Part 1910 Subpart I, and equivalent regulations
in states with OSHA-approved state plans, but
you can find PPE requirements elsewhere in the
    General Industry Standards. For example,
    29 CFR 1910.156, OSHA’s Fire Brigades
Standard, has requirements for firefighting gear.
In addition, 29 CFR 1926.95-106 covers the
    construction industry. OSHA’s general PPE
requirements mandate that employers conduct a
hazard assessment of their workplaces to
determine what hazards are present that require
the use of PPE, provide workers with
appropriate PPE, and require them to use and
maintain it in sanitary and reliable condition.
Using PPE is often essential, but it is generally
the last line of defense after engineering controls…”

” Respiratory protection of health care workers is vital in safeguarding nurses from biological hazards present in the workplace. Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s (OSHA) Respiratory Protection Standard 29 CFR 1910.134 specifies necessary elements of an effective respiratory protection program. Proper compliance with this enforceable government standard helps shield nurses and other health care professionals (HCP) from infectious diseases including M. tuberculosis (TB), multidrug-resistant TB (MDR-TB), extensively drug-resistant TB (XDR-TB), measles, varicella, smallpox, severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS), and avian flu. Additionally, the establishment of a comprehensive respiratory protection program in compliance with all the elements specified in OSHA’s Respiratory Protection standard is needed to achieve the highest level of protection against a potential outbreak of pandemic influenza (OSHA, 2007) and biologic terrorism incidents (CDC, 2004).”

This isn’t about being a Malkin fan. This is about a Fox anchor saying he’d spit on someone 2/3 his size because they thrash his poor arguments. Everyone should keep in mind Michelle Malkin has to walk the same halls with this arrogant threatening ass. It doesn’t matter if the threat is real.

Geraldo made a disgusting remark threatening a demeaning physical attack while preaching at the pulpit of a well known far-Left paper. The moment he was surrounded by those of like mind we see the real “man.” His race-baiting cowardice and misdirection was bad enough. This is unacceptable. Who wouldn’t O’Reilly trash for this?

If O’Reilly doesn’t publicly question this he loses serious credibility. There is no way around that.

I’ve written Geraldo, O’Reilly and Fox News. Everyone else should.

Missed the show segment, but caught the Vent clip on HotAir. Impressive, as always, particularly with what I’ve come to know as “The Malkin Touch:” Michelle’s infusion of passion into her work.

I mean, I could watch someone like George Will or Tucker Carlson or Bill Buckley discuss the same topic, and say to myself, “Hmm. That was interesting.” But watching Michelle’s range of expressions (closely as always, I might add), and hearing her energetic vocalizations adds a level of intensity that I seldom see in any other “talking head” format.

“Firecracker,” indeed. When I publish my pictographic dictionary one day, under the phrase “Sometimes big things come in small packages” there’s already a space reserved for Michelle’s photo.

    Nicely done!
