No, not Geraldo’s. The focus is MoveOn.org’s despicable ad. I worked in a plug at the end of the segment for all of the pro-troops, pro-mission counter-demonstrations taking place this Saturday. See my Gathering of Eagles category for more info. Hope you can be there with us.
And to answer all of the readers who have asked whether I’ve complained to top Fox people about stupid spit-gate, I have. They’ve gotten an earful from me.
I’m not going to let it get in the way of my job. But I won’t forget. Thanks to all of you who’ve expressed your disgust by e-mailing Fox News and thanks for your support of my work.

O’Reilly has lost a great deal of credibility for failing to openly address this issue. Any explanation for why he’d ignore this says a lot about him, none of it good.
No one can blame Michelle for avoiding being further victimized by the coward bureaucrats of FoxNews who would punish her for speaking up.
A real shame. I hope people who run into Geraldo start asking if he wants to spit on them.

On the segment tonight, you were in great form and Kirsten powers seemed - tired. She seems tired these days. I guess defending the indefensible is tough, strenuous work.
I’m sorry, but KP is a second rate spin doctor, and a third rate analyst. She’s right from the Juan Williams mold. Bleeding heart without substance or facts. Michelle always brings her A game, loads of facts, and tonight was no different. Top flight.
Loved the offensive playbook tonight. The volley about KP saying the same thing as usual, that the Hollywood types don’t matter so we should not pay attention to them…that left KP’s mouth agape on the split screen, heh. She looked as if Michelle had just ripped her bowl of Cherios from her hand and then poured it on her kitten or something. But hey, we’re all sick of the moveon.org crap being mainstreamed down our throats and ol’ Blackbeard Bin Laden lecturing us from the same damn DNC talking points!! Screw them all! God I hope there’s a gathering in my area, I’m ready to bring it!

Didn’t catch the show to-nite(will see the repeat).Re Mr.C.C:I have noticed also that K.P. does not seem to be on top of things lately.I hope you are right that it’s just a matter of fatigue trying to defend the indefensible,and not a health issue. She certainly doesn’t look well,and doesn’t seem as focused as she used to.
I am at a loss to understand FOX News’ silence. Especially Bill O’Reilly. I am truly disappointed in him.
Michelle, you not only have my support you have my gratitude for all you do to keep us informed and for fighting the fights that no one else mentions.
Kirsten may possibly be salvagable but not based on tonight’s blithe dismissal of the left’s anti-war themes and Hollywood’s political influence.

I agree with blue on this one, if just to mix things up. Michelle mentions how Brit Hume treated Gen. Petraeus - like an adult. I think that Bill, for the most part, treats MM and KP like adults - but there is an (earned) casualness there. They’ve obviously done this once or twice.
Thus, I think it would be interesting to see KP make her point first. She’s obviously bright, and hopefully she can come up with something better than “it’s the fringe.”
Conversely, and I agree that Michelle was very much “on” last night, every time Michelle drops a “Come ON!” comment, it weakens her position.
“Come ON” is how people “debate” in a school cafeteria. Michelle’s too smart, too well prepared, and too professional for that.

Did the Move on movement start out of Canada? I mean did it have it’s roots in America in the first place?
Though I think Kirsten’s position on the subject at hand was weak and untenable, I readily concede to blues’ and Laree’s points. I too get annoyed when O’R talks over his guests.
I suspect part of the problem is that Kirsten won’t just scream “Lemme FINISH!, dammit!” O’R needs to have his ears pinned back now and then, and his viewers love it when that happens.
At least he’s not as bad as Chris “Let me tell you what you really think” Matthews.

The non-support of O’Reilly for Michelle in the Geraldo spit comment matter clearly shows him not to be a stand-up kind of guy regardless of his attempt to come across as someone who will call out people making hateful comments. It is very illustrative of his character or lack thereof.
It is surprising coming from O’Reilly–he has such a good track record with respecting women.
Michelle, Fox News needs you. Just keep writing your columns and blog so that we true Americans are kept up to speed, then Fox and O’Reily can fade away. As long as Michelle Malkin and Rush Limbaugh are working, the truth will always come out. Malkin for President and Limbaugh for Vice-President in’08!
