   If this was a Muslim protest against the Iraq war would they have been subjected to this treatment?

   This statement caught my eye in the dhimmitization of Europe:

   The mayor of Brussels, Freddy Thielemans, banned the protest last month for fear it would cause problems with the city’s immigrant population.

   The “immigrant population” always seems to trump legal citizens, no?

   She happens to be visiting starting this next weekend. I will share firsthand news as I learn of what is happening. My son-in-law is an employee of the EU government. He has some interesting thoughts on the state of affairs in his homeland.

   Will keep you posted.

   Lindsay: I am almost certain I read a story that said Christians in Iran had to wear some sort of identifying mark.

   Let me look and I’ll post back if I find it.

   Make no mistake about it - before the radicals destroy all liberals hold dear (abortion, gay rights, feminism) their first victims will be Christians because we will fight this madness.

    It’s gratifying to see at least some Europeans have had a hard hot whiff of java of how their culture is being subtly undermined and diluted, and I suspect many of them, especially the French and Danes, assumed throwing open arms to unchecked immigration was a sign of peace and compassion. Much like those here who swear the invasion from below the Rio Grande will somehow ‘enhance’ and ‘fortify’ the U.S.’s ‘melting pot’ like previous group. Hello! When you go down to Mexico City and points south, you’ll find Italian and German and French restaurants and such, but that’s as far as their concept of a ‘melting pot’ goes — and they make _no bones_ about wanting to import that idea here. If you really give a damn about the distinctiveness of American culture then what’s happening in Europe is a vitally needed heads-up to taking hard and yes, dispassionate immediate action before the point of no return like MASSIVE deportation — and I don’t just mean criminals (i.e. “anchor babies” and relatives too!). This country’s culture is our timidity and stupidity to lose, as they’re belatedly waking up to across the pond.

    One reason the Supreme Court appointments were critical - SCOTUS was beginning to look at laws in Europe rather than our Constitution when deciding cases!
