Shamnesty alert: The DREAM Act returns
I warned before that although the shamnesty behemoth was slain, Congress would try to sneak piecemeal shamnesty into legislation this session.
Well, it’s baaaaaaaack. Reader E.M. e-mails about the return of the DREAM Act, which gives illegal alien students special in-state college tuition discounts not available to native-born American students and legal immigrant students:
The DREAM Act, previously S.774, has been introduced as an amendment to H.R. 1585, National Defense Authorization Act (Defense Authorization Bill) as SA 2237, Title XXXIII (National Defense Stockpile), Sec. 3301 (Authorized Uses Of National Defense Stockpile Funds). It is number 254 of 353 proposed amendments.
Who but our corrupt and pandering senators would think of incorporating the DREAM Act into “stockpile” provisions buried at the end of the lengthy Defense Bill?
Keep your eye on this one.

The letter I received from Arlen the Specter mentioned they would try again. What losers.
Just the name of the bill is noxious to me. A cloak for another trojan horse provision of Shamnesty. We’ll kill it. Michelle’s on the case.

Not precisely accurate, Michelle. Durbin is lead sponsor, but if you check you’ll see that sponsors also include turncoat RINOs Lugar and Hagel, as well as several of the Dem presidential candidates.
We are on it and I am personally making my phone calls to my Senators and Congressliars now.
He is just representing the people of Mexinois. We call them “new Americans” here in Mexinois, by the way–not criminals, and we welcome them as a prized additions representing the great Latin culture from which they are fleeing. They vote Democratic.

Not to be critical of Michelle, but this isn’t new. Durbin dropped this amdt. back in mid-July; it’s just that Congress was in recess all of August and the Senate is just now getting back to DoD reauthorization.

And what of our elected tormentors oath to “preserve, protect and defend” from “enemies foreign and domestic”?
We are being invaded by aliens that do not respect the rule of law or our sovereignty as a nation and our elected tormentors want to give them “goodies” they are not willing to give legal citizens and legal immigrants.
It is high past time to replace all 535 of these crapweasels!
Yes, Democrats have such a good, clean record in Illinois. Cook County comes to mind….. These new Democratic criminals will fit right in.
Another stealth tactic is sub-dividng illegals into categories and bestowing special class visas for them. Illegals who are victims of a crime in the US will now be eligible for U visas.

Nightmare is right. I wonder why ole Dick chose this particular part of the shamnesty bill to pursue. One would think that as Senator he would want to protect our borders, deport criminal illegals who are killing and harming US citizens, stop illegals from illegally using our Social Security system, etc, any of which would be a more worthwhile item to promote.
I guess, like most Democrats, protecting illegals is more important than protecting US citizens. I am waiting for the next measure from Durbin or one of his ilk, to pormote a bill giving illegals the right to vote. Not that they aren’t already with ACORN’s help.
What can we do to stop this?? I e-mailed Durbin’s office the last time and of course, didn’t get a response. Perhaps I need to be more militant??

Unfair! The referenced link says the Governor’s Office of New Americans is working for development of immigrants - no mention of ethnicity except for a restraunt owner. Sounds like good, sound integration to me. In fact, I’d recommend they change the name of the administration’s committee to Governor’s Office of New Americans Development & Success (GONADS) to more accurately reflect their purpose.

Just drafted a letter to e-mail to Senator Crapo soon as I get home tonight, already know what will happen if I send one to tapping foot Craig (I hope to god he keeps his word and he resigns in 19 days). I really believe if this stuff doesn’t stop soon we could be heading for another anything but Civil War. What are these idiots in DC smoking or snorting? The last out cry by the American people didn’t get their attention so now they try to slip it too us again as an amendment in a defense appropriation. Thanks to sites like Michelle’s for keeping a keen eye on these slim balls and keeping us in the loop. We will never hear any of this from the MSM. I’m surprised I haven’t had that heart attack I’ve been working on watching what the Liberals are trying to do to this country over the last couple of days the old blood pressure is really going through the roof. GRRRRRRRRRRRR!

Thanks to sites like this one that are keeping us informed as to what’s going on. Most of us would not have known about this.
How about we start our own little ‘grassroots’ group - we’ll call it “Code Blue” - in reference to the medical terminology of when a patient’s heart stops.
This country’s heart has stopped. It used to be one infused with honor and pride and patriotism. It has since ’stopped’ due to the clogging of its cultural arteries with political ambition, short-sightedness, and a lack of conviction for what is right - not what gets you elected.
The “Code Blue” mission would be to revive the heart of America by performing CPR ( Conservative Principled Reactions ) to the #1 culprit of attacks on the Nation’s coronary system, Liberalism.
We have a critical patient, people, and the alarms are going off. We need a response to them. What’s it going to be?
I’m sure Durbin, like most senators, would love to bring in as much cheap labor as possible while undermining American sovereignty. But I also think that part of this move is to insert a poison pill int Defense Authorization Act.

They’re not all bad. Steve King, Mike Pence, Tom Coburn, Jim DeMint…OK, I can’t think of very many who are looking out for us, but don’t punish good representatives because the other 500-odd suck.
I wonder how many political donations Durbin has received from construction and agricultural unions, as well as hispanic political action committees?

I’ve been warning about this for a month now…A group of spoiled whiny high school brats has undertaken this effort in order to get amnesty for Juan Gomez & his brother Alex (who have overstayed a 6 month tourist visa for 16+ years AND ignored a govt. deportation order for 5+ years). Call your senators and representatives and tell them you oppose the DREAM Act. Also, join the facebook group “Deport Juan Gomez”.
Say it loud and long on your next visit to the No Spin Zone, Michelle. Millions of us will be cheering you on when you do.
