Bloggers have been all over the story of Houssein Zorkot, the Lebanese medical student at Wayne State University who was arrested with an AK-47 Saturday in a Dearborn, Michigan, park while dressed in black clothing with camouflage paint covering his face.
No, it doesn’t look like this was a med school homework assignment. Robert Spencer snarks: “Maybe he was hunting squirrels.” Heh.

There is no terrorism here folks. No terrorist threat. Nothing to see. Just another Islamic person carrying a weapon. Er…just another Muslim professing jihad. Wait…that didn’t come out right either.

The arms and ammo have made it into the country through our ports where government has failed to invest in the technology to track containers.

Looks like the good folks in Michigan have a serious 5th column problem. Obviously he just failed his camouflage test as part of his Johnny Jihad home training course. As I learned from Combat Survival Training the object is to not be seen.
Between this and the student visa program of importing other potential Jihadist (i.e. Goose Creek, SC incident), and our wide open borders I am beginning to fear for this country’s survival. We have been very lucky over the last couple of years that these people are not rocket scientist, but every now and then even a blind squirrel finds an acorn and it is just a matter of time before we are hit again with a mass casualty attack.
When will this administration and their Department of Homeland Insecurity start to take the steps to stop this insanity, control our borders, and start sending undesirables back to their country of origin. Or am I just being a paranoid xenophobic bigot?
Just wanted to start his ‘personal jihad’ by comuning with squirrels. Took the weapon in case any of the little guys were overtly hostile to self-discovery. Gotta protect ourselves in parks these days. Makes sense.

Having seen the animated movie “Open Season” (hundreds throwing acorns to injure the poor bear) and the GEICO commercial (causing a single car accident) squirrels can be very dangerous. They have very sharp pointy teeth and to quote “Tim” from Monty Pythons Holy Grail, “they’ll do you a trick mate.” I recommend at least a couple of 30 round magazines for your hi-powered assault rifle of choice when out in the local neighborhood parks.

there is no way that park was full of squirrels … this time of year a nut like that would not be able to survive an attack of killer squirrels getting ready for winter …
Just read on the AP wire that six local squirrels in the park became concerned about the ‘med student’ acting suspiciously and contacted local police. CAIR advises they are considering a lawsuit against the squirrels who they insist ‘over-reacted.’
The more I see and read (and not via the MSM,) the more fearful I become. Fearful of some Islamic extremist blowing me up and fearful for our great Country. Or, more precisely, our ONCE great Country. That makes me an Islamophobe, I know. But I don’t worry about some Christian zealot shooting me because I’m not wearing the “correct” clothing or some such.
Our Country is too mired in Political Correctness to wake up and notice that we’re being invaded, that our enemies hide behind our laws and openness, all the while preparing for war.
There is a war coming, I fear.
The question is, will we wake up in time to stop it? Or will we wake up only in time to learn that it’s already too late?

That DHS “blog” is a joke! They review the comments before allowing them to be seen, and yet they’ve gone back and deleted two out of seven comments already.
Did somebody ask a question or make a comment in a civil enough way to get it posted, but then someone other than the original approver realized that the comment put the DHS in too bad a light? Well, it doesn’t matter because that’s how they’ve made it look. Bozos!
