Sally Field gave a non-partisan opinion that war is bad.

What nonsense! “War is bad.” Left-wingers no doubt would rather that we all spoke German, and that Jews and other “subhumans” were rendered extinct rather than fight against Nazism and fascism. Dems used to know that you take action against such evils. I mean, who were in charge of the Executive office when we went to war in 1917 and 1941? (Or, for that matter who were in charge when we went to war in 1950 and 1964?)

As things stand now, German is becoming a dead language, since Germans are not having babies anymore, and they are allowing non-Germans (mostly North African and Middle Eastern Muslims) to take over the responsibility for paying for their Socialist society, since the German population is aging rapidly. The problem there is that these emigrants are using their Socialist welfare to further drain their system.

The entire European contenent is becoming a Muslim colony. Muslims are generally allowed complete license to communicate their intent to bring the entire world beneath a Sharia law caliphate, and Europe is certainly on the road to falling to this system. Europe, which used to be the seat of world power and enlightened culture is in peril of falling to a barbaric seventh century political system.

What should our response be to this threat? Are we to allow the same leftist ideology that is destroying Europe to crush he manhood of this nation, and just allow the wave of jihandist, fundamentalist Islamism that is shaking the world to simply wash over the whole of the civilized world? Is not our freedoms and liberties worth fighting for? Are not civilized enlightened culture and our very lives worth fighting for?

On the contrary–sometimes war is very, very GOOD.

That is utterly ridiculous. The programs that they themselves cite as examples that use inappropriate language on Fox network (as bad or worse than the words used by Fields) are programs that are for all intents and purposes programs from the mind of leftist ideologs. “Family Guy” and “American Dad” are programs that essentially denigrate conservatism and our American heritage–in other words, they are completely left-wing fare. Their own examples disprove the “right-wing bias” arguement that they attempt to make.

Also, if someone wishes to watch these two leftist cartoons, then they generally know what sort of content is going to be on them. An awards presentation like the Emmeys is not the same thing at all. The personalities who are part of these programs are to use family-appropriate language, and those who receive awards are generally expected to follow suit. I wouldn’t call blotting out Fields’ “g-ddamned” rant censorship. I’d call it behaving responsibly.

The word is offensive. Most major dailies in the US did not use the word when describing Field’s speech. What does that tell you?

This was a matter of taste and network standards not censorship. Idiot lefties who see a conspiracy in everything are the only ones who believe that Fox cut her off because of the sentiment not for using an offensive oath.

BTW – the New York Times even reported that the reason Fox bleeped it was due to its vulgar nature.

There have been some ad-hominem comments about me that I haven’t understood. “What-EV”? Was the award ceremony on Fox? (maybe not Fox News, but still the Murdock network)

The old-timers among you may remember the Reagan line at a press conference something like: “I would say, pardon my French, Hell No.” Would you want Fox to bleep that too?
