I’m becoming almost as disappointed in President Bush as I was in his Father. He seems to be almost as Conservative – meaning not very.

I have either heard or hallucinated that Mr. Olson is being kept back for a future/hopeful slot at the Supreme Court when/if there is a vacancy.

I read that if he should have gotten the AG position that he could have been tainted from this administration for a future SCOTUS position. Makes sense to me…

OR, that he is being considered for future jobs with a hopeful future GOP President ’08. Regardless, he is a great man who would do well in any position and I hope he can be recognized soon and scare the Depends off of the Dems.

Ok, y’all: it is ok to not like Bush anymore, as I am not crazy about his immigration position AT ALL. But it is NOT ok to desert the GOP. Soon, very soon, we need to unite behind a candidate. Thanks.

How about noticing that Mukasey is a partisan conservative, one with Schumer’s endorsement for a life-time appointment to the Supreme Court. So, how ridiculous will Schumer and company look if they object to Mukasey’s nomination for AG?

I think you’ve misunderestimated our President. He’s sacrificed nothing and left Olsen for the Giuliani administration. (I would have said “Thompson administration” until I saw the video where Fred looks like a retired factory worker with health problems.)

Only 18 more months. I like George for the most part but you are right Michelle, the administration is sinking to new lows. What GW should be doing is fighting for principle against the non-principaled Dems. Let’s have a fight. Duke it out. We would all be better for it.

The nasty fact of life in our dastardly world of anti-American media and like-minded liberal Democrats, is that it takes a lot of time and maintenance to put up a nominee and defend the unjust onslaught that results. The President has many fish to fry and the execution of the war and dealing with the terror threats takes a lot of his time and energy. The dirty lot of galvanized Benedict Arnolds: Reid, Schumer, Biden, Kerry, Kennedy, Leahy, Clinton, Durbin, Hagel, & on and on, will rue the day they chose personal power and selfish motives over the welfare of the USA and its citizens. They have crossed too many lines and the people of this country have their backs against the wall. When the constitution is being shredded and the voters raped by these charlatans it is time to check the peoples options as found in the various amendments to the constitution.

Dittos Michelle! Conservatives would stick with him on a principle-based struggle, but he refuses to take a stand against the Democrat traitors. His repeated cave-ins to the radical left serve only to demoralize the base. Simply put, Republicans will *never* win as long as they act like Democrats!

President Bush has been a bit of a disappointment. He started off trying to placate the left (an exercise in futility)…he didn’t fire enough of the Clinton political appointees, and they continually came back to bite him in the butt! He tried to hold hands with the likes of Kennedy, and it got him no where! He jumped on the dems illegal alien bandwagon, pissing off almost his entire base. When you sit on the fence and try to make the dems happy, you’re going to fail. The only redeeming factor to his presidency, is the consistent execution of the war on terror. Were it not for that, I fear his presidency would have been a complete disaster for true conservatives. The only consolation I have is that at least Kerry wasn’t in the oval office.
