    I often make a big fuss about gay rights and women’s rights in these comments. Well, it would be mighty hypocritical of me to support gays and women and then turn a blind eye to Iran, wouldn’t it? Their human rights record is deplorable and unacceptable.

    I love diplomacy. I’m a typical liberal dove. But diplomacy with Iran is impossible until they make a good faith effort to improve their human rights record and insist upon a dialogue that doesn’t involve wacky Holocaust denials (and forcing Ahmadinejad to visit the Holocaust museum is brilliant) and insane anti-American rhetoric.

    I agree with most of what you said (especially the “hell” part). However, Mayor Bloomberg is not part of the Bush administration. He is a city official elected by the citizens of New York City.
