Meantime, filed tonight by the Associated Press, charges from the US about Iranian-sent missiles in Iraq:
The U.S. military accused Iran on Sunday of smuggling surface-to-air missiles and other advanced weapons into Iraq for use against American troops. The new allegations came as Iraqi leaders condemned the latest U.S. detention of an Iranian in northern Iraq, saying the man was in their country on official business. Military spokesman Rear Adm. Mark Fox said U.S. troops were continuing to find Iranian-supplied weaponry including the Misagh 1, a portable surface-to-air missile that uses an infrared guidance system. Other advanced Iranian weaponry found in Iraq includes the RPG-29 rocket-propelled grenade, 240 mm rockets and armor-piercing roadside bombs known as explosively formed penetrators, or EFPs, Fox said.
An American soldier was killed Saturday and another wounded when an EFP hit their patrol in eastern Baghdad, the military said.

After having been rejected by the United States administration to visit the site of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is now planning to meet the families of the 9/11 victims, Fars news agency reported.
Fars, which is close to the presidential office, further reported that Ahmadinejad would also meet US war critics…
Yes, question their patriotism. And their sanity.

At 12:30 p.m. Sunday, New York City Council Member David I. Weprin (D-Hollis), chair of the New York City Council Finance Committee, will join other elected officials, community groups and civic leaders to protest Ahmadinejad’s visit and urge Columbia to rescind its invitation. The rally is to take place at Columbia’s main gate at W. 116th St. and Broadway.
Ahead of his visit here, the Iranian nutjob sent a shout-out to his Hamas homeboys…
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad reaffirmed his support for the Hamas authorities in the Gaza Strip, in a telephone call with the premier dismissed by the Palestinian leadership, a Hamas spokesman said Sunday.
“Prime minister Ismail Haniya spoke Saturday night with … the president of the Iranian Islamic republic Mahmoud Ahmadinejad,” spokesman Tahar Al Nunu said.
“He wished him well on the occasion of the month of Ramadan, and reaffirmed Palestinian-Iranian ties,” he added.

Fox interviewed the Pres of Columbia U. and asked him directly about inviting Hitler … his response … yes … as long as the U.S. was not at war with that country …
Well … Iran declared war on the U.S. when they took our embassy workers hostage in 1979 … 28 years ago …
Obviously this idiot is claiming that unless Congress passes a formal “Declaration of War” that we can’t be at war with anyone … he seems to not be able to comprehend (as no liberal seems to be able to do) that we are at war … not with a specific country as in conventional wars … but with a perverse ideology that wants to take the world backwards 800 years …

Maybe some of those entertaining the thought that it is good to have diverse opinions on the table should consider it ok to invite Ted Bundy or Hannibal the Cannibal Dalhmer to speak? After all we need to find out about these folks and see their side of the issue! If you are looking for a moral compass you won’t find it in the administrative offices of Columbia U or the NYTimes. There will be a lot of blood on the hands of professors, journalists and leaders who have willingly chosen a path of destruction and deceit.

Columbia has said that they would not have invited him if we were at war with Iran. Well, as far as I’m concerned we are at war with Iran. And we have been since 1979.

And he would never allow weapons into Iraq… to be used on American troops… It must be some kind of mistake. Oh, and his nuclear ambitions are for peaceful purposes. 1) He hates Israel, as do most in the Arab world – including many of the leaders who get millions in support from the USA. So are they ALL terrorists because of that? (There is a New York Times article about his Israel comments – but I don’t expect you to read it as we all know the NYT is PURE EVIL!!! etc)
2) Because we all know American weapons have certainly never killed hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians in Iraq.
3) Who should decide what countries can have nuclear power or weapons?

You are wrong. All the 1979 Embassay hostages have said that it is was Ahmadinejad who was the ring leader and supervised the torture of our citizens.
Here is a Russian newspaper published photo that proves it but I am sure you will say it proves nothing.
