It seems these people who allow this type of “rewarding” have a pathological bent on unraveling the fabric that made us such a great nation. These politicians are not only sick but grossly corrupt in their behavior.
   We’ve had too many cases where drunk drivers, dope peddlers present false IDs. Now the state is aiding and abetting them to obtain that. Heaven help us and curse them.

   I and all my kids had to show birth certificates … since at that point in life that was the only official document one had to prove who they were …

   Give them a DL and they will use it to file for unemployment benefits, welfare, food stamps, etc. etc. etc.

    Say an illegal applies for a license and say he fails the driver’s test. Wouldn’t that person just continue to drive like they had before without a license? I don’t see a legitimate upside.

Two days later I as denied a library card because I couldn’t provide two forms of in-state identification. Summary – driver’s license, no problem! Library card, no way, Jose.

    This is a license to kill. If we want safe illegal alien drivers, we should deny them licenses and deport them when we catch them driving without a license. The fear of deportation would keep most of them driving safely.

    I know I have belabored my own family stories on here ad nauseam, but the fact that illegal immigrants get to have drivers licenses flies in the face of all that is fair, especially to those, like my grandmother, who had to learn English before driving in this country, become a citizen before driving and did everything the honest and upfront way.

    She was renewing her drivers license 3 months ago and they asked her if she would rather take the test in Spanish (bless her heart, she speaks English but with a heavy accent).

    She told the DMV employee “I am in America, and I will take the test in English, not Spanish”.

    Amen!

If Jackson and Sharpie Sharpton REALLY cared about “lifting” black people from poverty they’d be on the illegal alien issue like white on rice — but of course they don’t.
