I don’t think that all the people at the NY Times are idiots (just the ones that make the decisions). If their stock goes much lower maybe someone with a brain can buy the paper and put it back on track.

The Jayson Blair Times is one reason why even those who are normally against euthanasia should make an exception in this case.

I do hope those who fought for Terry Schiavo will turn a blind eye and let this entity bleed to its ignominious death.

Glad I don’t own stock in the New York Slimes. It will be interesting to watch it slide into oblivion. The dinosaur media is in a death spiral that they will never recover because they have lost the trust of the American people. Their selective reporting and heavy liberal slant have turned the consumer off to the point a newspaper is only fit to line bird cages or be used as fish wrap.

lgm, perhaps your statement comes from the outrage the left put up when it came time for Petraeus to submit his report. Memory serves that since his report was going to portray accurately what was going on in Iraq (i.e. progress) the left started calling it the “Bush Report”, since it ultimately would be submitted on behalf of and “by” the Bush Administration.

Trouble is, it HAD to be the “Bush Report”, since BY LAW, those reports are required to be officially submitted by the President.

If you want to take exception to the report, fine. It still doesn’t mean you’re going to be right with your criticisms. But at least do so on the grounds of the substance of the report – which was given by an honorable man doing a difficult job. Don’t take exception to the report because it was the “Bush Report”.
