I would like to share an idea with you.

I am so disgusted with our open borders Senators here in Maine that I am doing the following (and successfully encouraging my friends and neighbors to do likewise).

I make campaign contributions to those folks who are opposed to open borders like Duncan Hunter and Jim Inhofe.

I send them a personal check and a cover letter which I forward to my Senators.

The message is clear—”Our contributions are not going to you. They are going to those who oppose amnesty”

Thanks for the tip Fiona…and great news indeed Dan. But as you say we have to keep up the pressure.
The whole amnesty mess reminds me of some kind of Tom and Jerry cartoon skit where say Tom (open borders folk), is always trying to sneak past the sleeping bulldog (secure border folk), trying to get Jerry (Amnesty and special interests). Tom always gets found out and promptly gets whacked upside his behind with a 2×4. Tom just waits for the bulldog to doze off again so he can make another attempt…it’s silly but that’s exactly what President Bush and our lovely Congress keep trying to do. Try and try again.

Dingy Harry just said they are NOT able to get agreement to bring up the DREAM act on the defense bill. Dead for this month. He said he was still determined to bring up this bill before the middle of Nov. We need to keep up the pressure.

I have called and emailed our 3 democrap representatives (Arlen the Specter, lazy Bob Casey and Jason Altmire, General, Code Pink Division). I do not expect them to change their socialist tilt nor do I expect a reply or even an acknowledgement from these clowns…

PS Specter is a democrap for 5 years, come re-election time, he’s a republican. He’s the prototypical RINO.

Neil Cavuto on Fox just had a a report where San Diego has sent a $101M tab to the White House for illegals. I wish every other city/county/state would do the same. When the costs are tallied up perhaps someone would decide to pass the cost along to the employers. Even if it’s a maid or nanny – they get sick, the employer should have to foot the bill.
