Since there is no enforcement, I don't know if amnesty means anything.

More attention should be paid to Chinese illegal infiltration, which is second only to Mexican. I got on a bus with about 20 Chinese high school students the other day, who spoke only Chinese among themselves, and I swear there wasn't a one who looked normal in the group. Makes you wonder if the Chinese aren't dumping their undesirables here much as Castro did in the Mariana boatlift, along with innumerable spies.

Chinese spying is completely out of hand, not that our "patriots" in Washington care.

A Chinese national and a US citizen have been charged with conspiring to steal sensitive microchip designs capable of use in military technology, justice officials said Wednesday.

The US Attorney's office in northern California said Lee Lan and Ge Yuefei had been indicted on multiple charges of conspiracy to commit economic espionage and to steal trade secrets.

Lee, 42, a US citizen, and Ge, 34, a Chinese national, had sought to steal secrets from their employer, NetLogics Microsystems, and from the Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Corporation, a statement said.

The two men had set up a company for the purpose of developing and marketing products related to the stolen trade secrets, and had attempted to secure funding from the Chinese government, it added....

US officials have said China and Russia are spying in the United States at levels close to those of the Cold War.

We are so very fortunate to have Senators Inhofe and Coburn serving the people of my state...Both men understand that they have been sent by the citizens of the state to serve us, not serve it to us.

Senator Inhofe is up for re-election in the coming cycle. He will no doubt have to fight off attacks during the Republican primary from RINO's, appeaser pleasers, gullible global warming alarmists, code stink (I mean, pink) hate-triots and others. I will not be surprised should it come out that the Left has contributed to any of his Republican primary opponents.

PaulTrommer #17, I love your idea and I like your style.

Keep at it, everyone! Only the future of our nation is at stake.

Thank you, Michelle, for being one of the very few people who paid attn to this issue. Last June/July, there was massive, constant attn about the KBK amnesty, but this time? Not really. We not only have to contact Congress, but we have to bombard radio & tv talk shows to pay sufficient notice to these upcoming amnesties (DREAM & AgJobs). Because of our absurd chain migration laws, & how overworked/underfunded those who would process the amnesties are, neither of these amnesties will be 'small' (even some of their opponents have described them as 'small') & they'll both be loaded w/fraud, as all previous amnesties have been.

PaulTrommer #17, an absolutely splendid idea. Must admit, never crossed my mind, but it would have to work. My biggest fear is that people will cave at the last minute and vote for those that have betrayed us in the past. Better to start working on it now, making the point clear and without need of interpretation.

DesertLover #14, thanks for saying it better than I could. What seems like the "night of the living dead" - no matter what you do, no matter how many people agree with you, amnesty doesn't die.

All other posters, your positive attitude has encouraged me to strive again another day.

re: Polipundit points to good news on the attrition front.

...“People now are really frightened and scared because they don’t know what’s going to happen...”

...“They were afraid and cited the immigration law...”

...“There’s tension because you don’t know when immigration (agents) might show up, and a lot of people don’t want to take those chances...”

Exactly as it should be.

It's working!

I would like to share an idea with you.

I am so disgusted with our open borders Senators here in Maine that I am doing the following (and successfully encouraging my friends and neighbors to do likewise).

I make campaign contributions to those folks who are opposed to open borders like Duncan Hunter and Jim Inhofe.

I send them a personal check and a cover letter which I forward to my Senators.

The message is clear---"Our contributions are not going to you. They are going to those who oppose amnesty"

Want to join me? Have at it!

term limits for senators --2 terms
for representatives -- 4 terms

outlaw lobbying unless from a constituent-- if a corporate entity the headquarters must be in the state for a senator or in the representatives' geographical constituency, if not straight jail time for both lobbyist and politician. only way to stop the madness. oh, and expect reid to bring this back in one of the bills need to fund the troops... just waiting for that to happen..

Heard Orrin Hatch on Glenn Beck today (recorded after show yesterday) and he said he "used to be a liberal Democrat". Used to be? I can't vote against him but, unlike Glenn, do not feel he deserves respect just because he's an "elder statesman".
