ew.
I was born in San Francisco. My parents moved us to San Jose 12 years later. I am so very grateful for that.
These people always go to far and end up exposing their real intentions for everyone to see. As repulsive as it is.
I received this in my email from a friend the other day -
I think it shows the difference between a company like Miller, sponsoring something like this, and their main competitor, Anheuser Busch - and the type of ’sponsorship’ and advertising they are associated with:
Don’t forget NASCAR!!!The Busch Series, the Bud Pole Winner AND for the rest of the season…JR.
From Folsom’s site:
“Minors, you can see all the sexual perversity you want, but we’re not selling you beer!”
It’s good to know they have morals.
I think not.
I switched to Yuengling beer when Michelle pointed out Miller Lite’s sponsorship of the illegal immigrant gathering earlier this year.
Miller beer is no longer an option.
The predatory nature of the BDSM crowd is undeniable to human beings who value bringing young life into full emergence without the inundating influence of the predatory compulsions of sexually addicted adults.
The festival FAQ is indefensible. The perpetrators should be rounded up and locked down for this type of pandering and indirect solicitation of minors.
The Left is always saying that the Right are a bunch of Nazis. This FAQ is eerily familiar to me. It reminds me of the tone of Nazi promotional literature which made all of their activities leading to Hitler’s seizure of power seem so innocuous.
What we heard from defenders of the BDSM lifestyle yesterday, and the I can take it or leave it crowd, in my opinion and based on my experience, is due largely to how homosexual extremism- and other forms of extremism, left and right- are packaged and sold for mass consumption.
The medium is the message? This one has welts, blood, and *bondage* underneath it.
But in a slick kind of way, the Leather Daddies and their public spectacle is the mere suggestion of its trademark mix of sexual violence and the threat of violence. So while they do their public “dance” they can say to the scrutinizing public that dares to question their intent and their impact, “Oh! We aren’t doing anything wrong. It’s all in *YOUR* mind. We’re just out in the open about who we *ARE*.”
Slippery. Boundary treading. Despicable.
Miller Brewing Company has fallen beneath sewer level to sell its swill. Way back when I was a kid it was a decent beer, probably run by decent people who did business with decent people writing their marketing plans and ad campaigns.
Miller Brewing represents absolute corporate filth.
Where are the activists fighting this mass advertising that furthers the image of homosexuals as predators?
Where are the anti-smoking activists who are so concerned about kids getting hooked on nicotine? No thoughts on getting kids hooked on the “fun and frolic” of homosexual ritualized sexual violence?
I think the flowery language of the FAQ is a perversion of moral boundaries our society need not transgress. What greater good does it further?
OT-
on a lighter note,
The Cub’s just won their division.
so did the Red Sox.
I’m a little sheepish about this comment, since inevitably one of the sexual deviants or human freaks at this freakshow will show up dressed as the Dread Pirate Roberts (number unknown), with an actual cat-o-nine-tails, and probably a 12 year old boy to whip.
It’s Sodom and Gomorrah, as the Old Testament comes to life in San Francisco. Let the devil have them.
swiller beer..
Zorro, glad to here it.The only way to stop this filth from showing itself publicly is to hit the money-men where it hurts,in the wallet. If some people want to wallow in the slop, they have every right to do it,but if a corporation sponsers something that is offensive,we have the right to not use that corporation’s product. The free market is the solution to so many of the problems we face,if we are willing to do as you have done. Those who are offended by this garbage can’t be effective against it,unless we cut off the funding by not using the sponser’s product.Again, glad to hear of your decision, hope many others join you.
If you wanted an example of how idiotic the US drinking age is this would be it. You can vote, drive, marry, have sex, have kinky sex, work, fight for your country etc. at or by age 18. You can’t drink till age 21. The only thing worse is trying to buy cough medicine
Exactly, the Hardee’s ad was denounced, and removed somewhat (its still iritating) and this kind of trash fly’s through with minors welcomed? give me a break.
and this morning Pelosi galore is chiming in with support of the ad, she makes me sick.
aj…I haven’t seen the Pelosi statement. I hope it makes the front page of at least some of the conservative press. Link?
heartland, Check foxnews for a link they reported her stand this morning.
I hope Zombie’s staking out the gates. I’ll bet money someone takes in a kid in a stroller.
Local microbreweries, kids.
Disgusting. I’ve seen more than enough without watching any of the you tube videos.
No problem! When I was 17, 18, 19 years old (many eons ago!) I had an absolutely fabulous fake ID card. Got me in anywhere I wanted to go! And that was back in the days before computers and digital technology.
Duh!!!
If I were still a drinkin’ gal (as I was——big time!——until 18 years ago), I think I would still, even then, have the good sense to permanently boycott this despicable company! Unfortunately (or maybe I should say fortunately?), I cannot drink today, but if I could, it would be Bud Light. All you current drinkers out there, even casual drinkers, can do something concrete today.
Do it! And let them know it!
re: bear1909 #(9
Once again you have hit home on several important points. I’ve mentioned this before, but feel that it’s important to mention it again. You should give very serious consideration to getting some of your writing published! I’m not talking about a book, or anything that daunting. I’m speaking of magazine or newspaper articles. It’s hard, yes. But it can be done. I know because I have done it! Would you consider emailing me at [my nic]42 at comcast dot net?
I have no interest in benefiting from your efforts… I just have some great pointers if you’re the least interested. I would also like to share with you some of my own writing, one of which you and I have a mutual interest.
Nancy Pelosi supports the gayfest. So says WND at their website.
She’ll also receive an award from the gay activist group the so-called Human Rights Coalition.
If it’s from San Fran, it’s got to be bad and perverted. Looked at the YouTube posting and the thumbnails were too much. Sickening. God help us. And them.
Both the picture and MILLER are beyond PUKEY!
Not to be judgmental, for that is not politically correct, but does this homosexual fair make the moral equivalence they so want beyond the next horizon. And does this not give “Miller Time” a totally new meaning or perhaps not worth saying at all.
My letter to Mr. Green.
I suggest you write him and let him know how you feel.
Uhhhhhh…that would be “friendS and family.” I do have more than one. LOL!
