Mr. Green,

You have lost me as a customer forever. Your sponsorship of the Folsom Street Fair in San Francisco shows you have NO regard for your own image as a product, or for normal family values.

You have stated publicly: “It is important to understand that the Folsom Street Fair does not target the general public in its communications, The fair itself and the organization’s Web site are only intended for the adult alternative lifestyle community.”

But the Fairs own website states: “While we don’t have any age restrictions at the gates we do inform attendees of the adult oriented nature of our events. We also strictly enforce the 21 or over restriction on beer and liquor sales. So if you are under 21, please don’t try and purchase alcohol. We will card you.”

Which is it, sir??? It’s adult oriented, but my five year old can attend!! “Oooh look Billy! A fist shaped dildo!! Try on this cute leather collar! Oh! There’s the Miller beer tent!! How nice of them to sponsor this!!”

How enormously stupid of you to sponsor this, and then be stupid enough to try and defend the indefensible.

With all the other beer options out there. Your product will be very easy to replace. I intend to pass this on to my friend and family….all soon to be former Miller beer drinkers.

I suggest you write him and let him know how you feel.

She’ll also receive an award from the gay activist group the so-called Human Rights Coalition.

Once again you have hit home on several important points. I’ve mentioned this before, but feel that it’s important to mention it again. You should give very serious consideration to getting some of your writing published! I’m not talking about a book, or anything that daunting. I’m speaking of magazine or newspaper articles. It’s hard, yes. But it can be done. I know because I have done it! Would you consider emailing me at [my nic]42 at comcast dot net?

No problem! When I was 17, 18, 19 years old (many eons ago!) I had an absolutely fabulous fake ID card. Got me in anywhere I wanted to go! And that was back in the days before computers and digital technology.

If I were still a drinkin’ gal (as I was——big time!——until 18 years ago), I think I would still, even then, have the good sense to permanently boycott this despicable company! Unfortunately (or maybe I should say fortunately?), I cannot drink today, but if I could, it would be Bud Light. All you current drinkers out there, even casual drinkers, can do something concrete today.

Do it! And let them know it!
