As to your question, the only one on the list that I wouldn’t have put quite so high is Ann Coulter. I still like her and listen to her, but I think she often seeks confrontation… sometimes it starts looking like the Jerry Springer Show.

I think I would also put Brit Hume and Mary Katherine Ham much higher than Honorable Mention.

I am tired of the way presidential candidates are selected. Two years of campaigning with candidates of both parties seeking votes in the primaries from extremists, then the candidates run to the center at the general election, which is still over ONE YEAR away. The primary law really sucks. I would prefer the old way of selecting candidates: conventions held 4 months before the general election which gives candidates time to campaign with less burnout on those like you and me who have to endure the mind numbing constant campaigning.

Johnny D, I’m looking at your list. While I agree that Rush is conservative, I can only take him in small doses – his ego is too much for me. Michelle is tops as is Laura. They both have intellect, communications ability, and a pleasant manner. To me Ann Coulter is counter productive because of her style. If one of the goals is to convince non conservatives why they should be conservatives, then Ann just drives them away with her shrill speak. I also like
Glenn Beck and Bill O’Reilly. I respect Shawn Hannity, but if I have to hear him say ” You’re a Great American” one more time, I’ll scream. It just gets old after a while.

I also like Newt for his conservative ideas.

Or maybe not. I see my first post now.

May post on LGF later on possible subtropical storm to form (upper low and decaying front already providing beneficial, maybe too beneficial) rain to South Florida), move across Florida and head for Louisiana.

If so, I’ll link to the post.

Michael Savage, when he supported Jerry Brown last election, and gushed like a school girl over Chuck Schumer when the senior senator from the Empire State came on his show, revealed that his conservatism may be a mile wide, but a centimeter deep.

“Kill the Jews & Christians” fliers have appeared on cars in Michigan.

The fliers say, “Kill Jews and Christians if they don’t believe in Allah and Mohammad.” They also encourage fighting anyone who does not believe.

Police are perplexed. They have no idea what it means.

Malkin, Coulter, Bruce (Tammy), Rush, O’Reilly, Steyn, Stein (Ben), Hannity was on the list…(I love his man on the street bit.) But in the last year or so he has started coming across a little too whiney for me. Sorry Sean!

YAY long time lurker, finally first time poster!

Some of my favorite right leaning type people include of course MM, Laura Ingraham and in the Senate, Senators Demint and Sessions. I’ve also been reading alot of good things about Duncan Hunter lately, so he is definitely on my radar as well!

Big thank you to Michelle for opening up the comments! :)

Ann Coulter by far number one in my opinion. She takes it to these liberal freakazoids like there is no tomorrow. She uses the liberal secular progressive strategies against them and wins hands down every time. She is one funny girl! Her intellectual humor BITES!

Rush Limbaugh is excellent but I tire of his “egomaniacalisms”.

MICHELLE MALKIN is my favorite web site, articles and book author and most well thought out and reasoned conservative in the universe. She’s easily number one too.

Got to love Laura Ingraham. She’s such a smart girl and has an easy to listen to voice.

Bill O’Reilly used to be much better. His usage of “Left Wing Fanatic” Geraldo Rivera is a ridiculous attempt to be fair and balanced. His TV show has clearly lost its edge with the recent disappearance of Michelle Malkin.

Michael Savage is fabulous. Exposes both sides hypocritical tendencies and takes the edge off with recipes, cooking instructions and other health items. His angry tirades are motivational. I’m sure he keeps the SF Gay community seething!

Sean Hannity lost me completely over Terry Schiavo. Fifty percent of his content now on both television and radio is pathetic rehashing of worn out issues.

Newt Gingrich lost me completely after his super promotion last week of American solutions only to discover Saturday that he did not qualify to run that LUCRATIVE “not for profit” company and campaign for the presidency simultaneously. Convince me that he did not know about McCain/Feingold interference prior to last week’s super promo including hype by Neal Boortz and Sean Hannity. RIDICULOUS!

Woohoo! Thanks for opening registration, Michelle.

As for the Right Wing News poll, you, Mark Steyn, and Robert Spencer would be my three picks.
