Barack Obama is a a very poor statesman with less than admirable performance of his Senatorial duties (cannot inspire, let alone write, legislation), and does not have the stones to sit in the situation room with people who are more intelligent and accomplished than he is.

What exactly has happened to this country? We all know that if nominated, Obama will draw at least 40% of the popular vote in spite of his disdain for our flag. I ask again, what has happened to this country?

My Uncle’s partner “Billy Bob” (yes — gay partner, name has been changed) just loves Obama. Has the bumper sticker, made the obligatory financial contribution, the whole nine yards. Since there is only one other true conservative in my entire family (my mother), I choose not to discuss politics at family gatherings. When the subject comes up, I start singing “la la la la la” in my head until I can leave the room to keep my head from exploding. Anyway, I stuck my neck out and asked “Billy Bob” why people like Obama — other than the fact that he is attractive and articulate. I pretty much got a blank stare, then as you might expect, comments about how he is “compassionate and has really fabulous (a word that seems to get used a lot by Billy Bob) ideas.” *sigh* Anyway, I guess Obama has the gay vote locked up.

I love the improvements on the Seal of the Great American Chicken. If a Surrendercrat wins this could very well come to pass (scary thought isn’t it). After all “she who must not be named” will take things away from us for the common good. Why not take away our National identity.

This guy is waaaay out of his league running for president – and hasn’t seemed to attract any more-qualifed help in his organization if you look at what his handlers have allowed him to say/do: that we’re bombing citizens and villages in Afghanistan, that somehow he’s more of a patriot than the other candidates because he wants to “talk” about patriotism and the issues, etc. How about some “do” to back up his talk – a simple little thing like wearing an American flag on his lapel would be a nice start…

This is something that has irked me from day one. It is so clear to me that these so-called “leaders” have absolutlely no concept whatsoever of the principles upon which our great nation was founded! All the talk of “diversity” and “cultureS (plural)” and “black history” and “this history” and “that history” makes me sick to my stomach.
It is clear to me that they have no idea at all what “E pluribus unum” means: “Out of many, one!”
Would they change this phrase on our coins (and wherever else it appears) to “E unum pluribus?” (”Out of one, many”) Do they truly not understand that we are ONE NATION, under God? True, our one nation is made up of many cultures and nationalities, but if we do not fight for total unity as one nation, we shall surely fall!
There’s gotta be a way to stop this INSANITY!!!

I wonder what Obama thinks of Goldman Sachs brokering a deal with a Beijing business with ties to the Chinese Communist military to acquire 3com, a US company that builds top secret firewall architecture for our Pentagon and the US Navy carrier fleet?
I wonder if this is even a more important story than Barack Obama or any of the candidates.

What these candidates don’t seem to know or understand is what the Flag means to most military personel. If they really cared, they would get a real military advisor on staff to explain these things to them.
I’m disgusted…though not surprised.
His name has always bothered me. I don’t believe he’s a christian. I think that he’s a muslim in disguise. I’ve always thought that those lapel pins where window dressing for politicians. Still, purposefully not wearing one is very troubling to me. I won’t vote for him anyway, but even Liberals should take note of this guy.
I’m quite sure Obama wants to be president, I just don’t know what he wants to be president of, though I’m pretty sure it’s not the United States of America. And since the election I’ll be voting in is the one for President of the United States of American, I guess I’ll not be voting for him. Because, you know, I don’t think that’s what he’s running for.
And one more thing…I imagine Obama and his ilk also see the U.S. Constitution as an annoying little symbol of rights and freedoms. Look for them to attempt to discard it as well, in favor of “talking about” rights and freedoms. And who should have them. And who should not.

Obama took the United States Flag pin OFF of himself. Its not just that he once wore it, it is that he has now refused our great flag.
The US FLAG that every child in this country pledged allegiance to for countless years. OUR flag that flies half-staff when a President or another great American dies. OUR flag that IS the very embodiment of FREEDOM and HONOR and HOPE.
Obama took it down.
For millennia, all countries have proudly carried their flag before their troops in battle, it was their leader and inspiration. Many flags were carried, but none so proudly and for the benefit of so many people ( America and other countries) as the US FLAG. Still today they’re called the HONOR GUARD for any who are so lucky to be the chosen carrier(s) for this great flag.
The most famous picture made in the history of the United States is of a U.S. FLAG above an island… named Iwo Jima.
Obama has now refused it.
Our flag stands for each and every great person and great event in America’s 230+year history as well as every person who has died for what it stands for.
Tell us now, B. Hussein Obama, that all the American people from the 1700’s , the 1800’s , the 1900’s, and in this new millennium, through each battle in every war including WW1 & WWll, from before and beyond, that every drop of American blood spilt for freedom and justice for all, that NOW according to you, BHO, that wearing the U.S. flag means ‘unpatriotic’ testimony.
Tell us, is this what you truly meant to say while you run for the highest office in the land?
The office in charge of all of our men and women in the armed forces who carry this flag before them?
