Is it any wonder why democrats fear military personnel, veterans and talk radio?
We are what they fear the most-
Educated, opinionated, passionate, patriotic, and very well informed electorate.

Add to that the fact that military service generates a heightened BS detector and you are right on my friend.

No Mister Vibe, I don’t want my family members to serve next to a bitching, crying, complaining little liberal piece of dog droppings who’ll run away at the first shock or refuse to fight. The all-vollunteer military ensures that only the best of our young people get to serve and reap all the benefits of that service.

I do want to take the time to thank Michelle and all of you for that part of your taxes which goes to my retirement from active duty, it is the one physical reminder of the people’s gratitude for the years myself and my family sacrificed for the United States. Unlike the filth ridden liberals, I will strive to the end of my life to make sure that my contribution to my country remains loyal, honest and untainted by drugs, criminality and liberal sickness.

Notwithstanding his past record, it would seem that, with his mind in old age, those days have sadly been lost. He is nothing more than a tool for the chicken left, propped up because his Marine record is supposed to make him human Kevlar.

Here’s an analogy I think all music-lovers can understand:

“Van Halen I” was perhaps one of the best rock albums produced. Yet, the same band managed to make “1984″ with a bunch of synthesizer crap–then they kicked out David Lee Roth and brought in Sammy Hagar. A series of feel-good lovey-dovey rock “ballads” ensued–and the sellout crowds turned away from the sellouts.

I’m turning away from Jack Murtha. He is to today’s Marine Corps what Hagar was to Van Halen. Oil and water.

Both are opportunists. Both think they can use the other to get what they want. Both have rather hazy strategic objectives, but well-defined tactical ones: e.g., American military defeat, the downfall of the current US administration and isolating Israel.

The trouble is, when achieving satisfactory tactical outcomes becomes the “strategy” itself – and is unmoored from any kind of over-arching ethical or moral principle – there’s no telling who you might end up standing next to:

- Mr. Reid, meet Mr. bin Laden.
- Mr. Zawahiri, meet Mr. Murtha.
- Mr. Zarqawi, meet Ms. Pelosi…

“The enemy of my enemy is my friend” was the mortar that held the Western Allies and the Soviet Union together in WWII: their distrust and dislike for each other was temporarily put aside because their mutual hatred of the common enemy was stronger.

Similarly, the present-day Alliance of Convenience between the Left and the Islamists is how you see Democrats declaring the war “lost” and demanding retreat in the face of the enemy, while you get Osama bin Laden endorsing Noam Chomsky and chiding the Democrats for their political ineffectiveness.

This Alliance of Convenience is why, if you take statements from al Qaeda and Democrat party leaders and mixed them up without attribution, it’d be challenging to distinguish who said what.

War and politics make for strange bedfellows, indeed.

And yet we are still winning, just goes to show how good our men and women in the US Military really are. Even with the MSM, half of congress and the entire nutroots stabbing them in the back at every opportunity they still manage to win.

It must be killing those traitors that they cant turn Iraq into another Vietnam.
