Here is what people in San Francisco really think of the Chris Daly. You must remember that he represents the Tenderloin district (those that live in SF know what that means)

Living in Northern California all my life, save for a few months here and there, I can tell you that there is no minority of Liberals in San Francisco that have a foot hold. It is a very large majority, there, in Berkeley, in Oakland, in Richmond, in San Mateo and pretty much the entire Bay Area. What there is minority wise, is the Conservatives that are constantly heckled, ridiculed, intimidated, and who constantly get their rights trampled on by those that have gone so far Left that they have become almost fascist and totalitarian in their over-zealousness. It is witnessed in any form from Davis West down 80, and even creeping into the Sacramento Area as the Liberals get tired of having to pay the over-priced housing that they themselves have increased with all their unrelenting taxes.

While I will not approve of any violent thought towards them, I also understand that these are people who are fed up with being the only ones to abide by the rules in these "debates". People get tired of playing fair, only to be abused, threatened and treated like dirt by those who never use facts or fair play. What they are saying is that until the Bay Area finally feels the result of their backwards beliefs, they will continue down their path to destruction. They are saying that only after a natural disaster or a serious terrorist attack will, hopefully, these morons on the Left finally realize that the very people they speak out against and try to get rid of are needed and should be treated with all the respect they deserve.

Unlike them, however, I do not think that even after such events will they realize that. Instead, they will whine why nothing was done prior, not enough is being done and return immediately to their seditious, traitorous ways for the only thing they are consistent with is hypocrisy.

Where is the outrage from <strong>Americans</strong> here that JohnHolliday and others here are providing moral support to for the enemy by stating that they hopes terrorists attacks or natural disasters strike San Francisco?

My parents, my brother and many friends live in San Francisco and I take your comment not only as attack against our great nation but as a personal attack on my family and loved ones. <strong>Shame on you.</strong>

I do not know how to make it any clearer to those who post here that there is a vocal minority that is very well organized and has a firm hold on politics here in the Bay Area. I have tried in vain to relay this message in the hope that rather than attack everyone in San Francisco Bay Area and advocate their death via nuclear attack or natural disaster, you focused your arguements (many of which I happen to agree with) on the select few (Gavin Newsome, to name a few here) and support efforts to bring to organize the large conservative presence that <strong> exists here today in the San Francisco Bay Area.
.
It is time for Michelle Malkin to stand up and speak out against these extremists who advocate here on her blog for death to their fellow Americans. Lets counter the liberal agenda with reason, dedication and substance and with not with extremisim of our own.

Why are all these anti-war, anti-American seditious Liberals all of a sudden declaring that they are not Democrats? Am I the only one that has noticed this? Maybe they have been told by the DNC that the DNC is not being helped by their antics and thusly they need to all collectively say, when asked, that they are not members so as not to be identified with them, giving them a chance to declare ignorance as to their actions in the election, but up until recently they all WERE Dems.

It has happened here as well. All the Libs here seem to try to clarify their positions by claiming, "BTW, I am not a Dem. I am a Moderate/Independant/Etc.," as if that would make any difference what-so-ever. Sorry kids, but when you vote Dem, support Dem, actively encourage DEm...that pretty much makes you Dem regardless what you claim or what might be on your voter registration card.

Paul Kanter, member of the Jefferson Airplane (FROM San Francisco), once described San Franciso as "49 square miles surrounded by reality." That is as true today as when he said it.

I was born in SF (albeit at Letterman Army Hospital) and have lived in CA all my life. So I know something of the wack-a-doodle politics in this area. I truly do believe that CA is the worlds largest outdoor insane asylum.

And Gavin Newsome commenting on the political motiviation of the conservatives to blacken SF because of it's anti-military stance, while trying to claim that SF is not anti-military, is like Ted Kennedy making moral pronouncements on US Court nominees. How's your friend's wife, Gavin? <a href="http://www.attackcartoons.com/article.php?story=moxley.gif" rel="nofollow">Seen Mary Jo lately, Ted?</a>

I hope Iran's first nuke is dropped on SF.

Speaking as a retired cop - I'd just like to know why the SFPD has abrogated it's responsibilities to enforce the laws? I would assume SF has - as most jurisdictions do - a law against destruction of property. Why then did they not summarily arrest the Code Pinko's for damaging the recruiting office? Were there not SFPD officers on detail for the Code Pinko demonstration?

How about demonstrating without a permit? How about the harassment of the recruiting officers? How about disorderly conduct?

Were officers told NOT to enforce the law here? Do these cops not know that no supervisor nor political official of any level can order them not to enforce the law? What kind of cops do they have out there in that zoo?

When it comes to SF tourism and the like, I'm reminded of the old cop fallback ... <strong>"nothing to see here, folks - just move along."</strong>

For those who post here that they will boycott San Francisco, I ask you this... why are you giving up on your country? Are you not a patriotic American?

If you do not agree with what is going on in San Francisco, support your country and work to ensure that the vocal minority that speak the extreme talk do not damage the of an unorganized majority. There is no support by the Republican Party for opposition candidates in the San Francisco Bay Area... do some groundwork and I am confident that a Republican majority would win in San Francisco.

<strong>To do anything less is truly a national tragedy.</strong>

Hello US NAVY-PLEASE WAKE UP AND NO LONGER HOLD YOUR FLEET WEEK FESTIVITIES IN THAT CITY BY THE BAY! I feel so sorry for those who are conservative and pro-military in that town. It would be nice if it would change some but I don't know if it will. I visited there in 1997 for my then boyfriends brother's wedding. It was absolutely beautiful and I throughly enjoyed it. However, we have decided that we will never visit there while things are like they are. They can respect the freaks at the Folsom Festival but not the military folks. Strange drugs I guess.
Dagney, thank you for your great work. All of my first cousin males on my dad's side went to Viet Nam and related stories of what they faced when they came home. One of them didn't come home and at his funeral (I was 6 but I remember this if it were yesterday) three of my female cousins showed up with their anti-war friends and spit on his casket at the burial. That split my family and these same three loser cousins stopped talking to me when I joined the military out of high school. I told them I knew I was too immature to go to college and that I needed to grow up and I was inspired by Ronald Reagan to serve my country. When I later married an Army Officer they sent no card nor gift but one sent some dog poop instead. Nice women. They are still protesting as my brother ran into one of them a few years ago when they tried to shut down the city of Chicago. They still talk to him of course because he never served but they don't talk to me or my parents. I know that there are a lot of wonderful people like you Dagney who did drop out of their generation and went on to raise their families and all. Unfortunately the kooks always get the press.
As for Gavin, he needs to look to his own deportment.
