Self-congratulatory leftist quote of the day

By Michelle Malkin  •  October 8, 2007 01:09 AM

Winning quote:

“It’s amazing what an idiot with a laptop, cell phone and credit card can achieve.”

–Brad Newsham, Berkeley moonbat organizer of the “Beach Impeach” stunt.

Runner-up:

“Two days before the events, I’m shaking,” he said. “I swear, this work could kill a guy. But I want to send a message that we can reinvent America. We can take back America.”

– Newsham again.

Hey, buddy, don’t break your arm patting yourself on the back.

Huh? So which is it? Does he want a new American or the old one?

Does he plan, at some later date, on leading “Reinvent America” protesters to protest his own “Take back America” rallies and vice-versa?

Now, that’s job security. That’s thinking ahead.

I can’t believe I am going to agree with a moonbat. I agree we need prayer in schools. The 10 “suggestions” back in government. A Christian nation as originally intended. Yep, we need to take back America from the liberalism that has ruined our schools and government.

    They want neither.

As for “reinventing” America, we all know the Code Pinkos and the rest long for this nation to be a communist one. I don’t get how they can be “progressive” when they cleave to an ideology that’s failed repeatedly and taken 100 million lives in the process. But, then again, I suppose negative/backward progress is, technically, progress…isn’t it?

And what, may I ask, did this accomplish? This is a question that is just dogging me. What is it, exactly, do they think these little stunts accomplish? I mean, do they honestly, somewhere in the back of their minds, think that suddenly, after seeing one of these stunts, that the US Congress and Senate will all of a sudden, stop what they are doing, think, “My God…that’s freaking BRILLIANT! Why did it take me so long to think of that?” and suddenly begin impeachment proceedings? Do they honestly believe that these protests and stunts will make Bush or anyone else, suddenly give the orders to pull out of Iraq, Afghanistan and where ever else they do not approve of us being, and come home, ending the WOT? Seriously, what is their ultimate goal? What logic are they using in this?

Not only that, but this guy spent $20K? ON WHAT???? Re-seeding the natural grasses that were destroyed by patchouli poisoning and trampling? What about all the emissions from all the VW busses that was caused in getting these morons to the location? how about the helicopter emissions? Had he not fdone this stunt, that would be that much less greenhouse gasses produced, since these hippies would have stayed home. After all, it isn’t like they have jobs. How else could they have got there? “Hey boss, I need the day off…I have to go and make an ass out of myself in a field doing something that serves no purpose other than satisfy my own sense of self-worth. I am making a difference”.

Yeah rught. What a bunch of useless jackasses. If they spent this much time and effort in improving themselves and their lives by getting jobs and raising families…

Maybe they can organize another protest on our local gun range? There’s lots of open space and relatively level ground. There’s also an air strip nearby so aerial shots are pretty amazing. We can make it available to all moon bats during normal range hours. Make sure to bring eye & hearing protection and several old refrigerators and automobiles you can hide behind.
