Joy-less Behar’s health care analysis

By Michelle Malkin  •  October 13, 2007 07:29 PM

behar.jpg

There was an infantile, pea-flinging discussion of the Graeme Frost case on the Real Time with Bill Maher show last night. Blogger Ms. Underestimated sent word that the classy Joy Behar–a comedian or something–offered her penetrating analysis of why I’m focusing more on opposing middle-class entitlement expansion than stopping the Iraq war.

If you can’t stand the blather, just forward to 2:53 into the segment of the video here. Behar’s side-splitting punchline about me:

“Because she’s a selfish bitch, probably.”

***

Allahpundit: “The one nice thing about leftist-approved attacks like this is that they reset the bar for what constitutes civilized political discourse. File “selfish bitch” away somewhere safe for future use.”

More here.

Joy Behar is not exactly Rhodes Scholar material (Rocky Road perhaps).

It is sad in a way - this is what passes for intelligent discourse on the left. Trot out a celebrity or faux celebrity and hope the people are blinded by their starlight from seeing the facts.

If she’s on TV, it must be true. The truth here is that MS. Behar is but another citizen living in the land of make believe, where things are what you wish them to be.

I think I may have mentioned this before, but it is relevant here. Up until fairly recent times, the left controlled the flow of information. And that situation existed for so long they began to believe that anything they put out there would be swallowed hook, line and sinker.

Now that there is a world wide web that allows people to find their own information and check the facts of what is being reported to them, the MSM and their minions cannot figure out how to respond.

It reminds me of that scene from “The Wizard of OZ” when the great and powerful is called upon to make good on his promises. The bluster and volume of the Wizard’s voice booms throughout the room, while the flames of wrath shoot ever higher at the commoners who would dare to challenge a wizard. Until the smallest of the party boldly pulls back a the curtain concealing a common man pushing all the buttons.

Despite the admonition to “Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain”, the truth is out.

The MSM and our elected representatives seem to be at the “pay no attention to the man behind the curtain stage”. The light of day has penetrated into the carefully built facade of superiority and omnipotence, and has revealed for the very first time the deception that was the absolute unquestioned authority on all information.

They do not know how to deal with truth or facts, and it scares the hell out of them. Get used to it.

As for Joy Behar, a good bucket of water should solve that problem. It worked for Dorothy.

His show isn’t any kind of discussion or a political forum of ANY kind. It’s just a soap box for Bill to espouse his version of things and get a few laughs.

There are no thoughtful questions or legitimate discourse, just insults and opinions laced with hateful barbs at all things not Maher and the lingering smirk of King Bill as he ponders what a deep thinker he is. How proud Hef must be!

As angry as these simpletons make me, I refuse to let them ruin my Saturday night! I’ll take the high road like MM and let the thinking people decide. It’s an easy decision, isn’t it??

If you look real close at the video you can actually see the little gears in Joys head trying to crank around and then a tiny little lightbulb pops up over her head and Bingo! out flings the B word.

Something about that mug reminds me of the flying monkeys from the Wizard of Oz. She also makes about as much sense. Not that I want to smear the poor monkeys.

Joy Behar is a hater posing as a comedian and failing. She comes off shrill and clueless. Naturally, since she can’t rationally debate Michelle on the issues, she resorts to name calling. Why anyone would watch The View or any of the women on it is beyond my comprehension.

I never liked the woman and comments like this pretty much sum up why. Of course the program itself is just a bunch of chatty no-nothings who have a platform provided for them by BABA WAWA. Another loser in my mind.

All it shows to me is that:

    They’re listening to you Michelle.

    And they know you’re Right.

All of the Left’s dogma easily disappears in a puff of logic.

I’m inclined to go with it. If that is their chosen rhetoric, fine, stand tall and proud and shout together: We need more “selfish bitches!” A lot more. The country would be much better off if they were the majority. As for the professional Liberal Sob (SOB?) Sisters, send the lot of them to the Middle East. Sounds to me like the road to peace.

With Rosie O’Donnell gone, Joy Behar thinks she now has The Fat Obnoxious One title on “The View.”
