There was an infantile, pea-flinging discussion of the Graeme Frost case on the Real Time with Bill Maher show last night. Blogger Ms. Underestimated sent word that the classy Joy Behar–a comedian or something–offered her penetrating analysis of why I’m focusing more on opposing middle-class entitlement expansion than stopping the Iraq war.

Before the View did anybody know who this moonbat was? Comedian? In all of the clips AP has posted over at Hotair I don’t believe she even rated a small snicker.
Stay with it Michelle, the truth makes for great entertainment when its used to confront these idiots.
What a brainless non-thinker, it’s like the sound of your name throws them into some sort of Voodoo, zombie trance where they then spout curses.
I call the fallacy of ignoring the question by appealing to the person, a.k.a. ad hominem!

Joy Behar is not exactly Rhodes Scholar material (Rocky Road perhaps).
It is sad in a way – this is what passes for intelligent discourse on the left. Trot out a celebrity or faux celebrity and hope the people are blinded by their starlight from seeing the facts.
If she’s on TV, it must be true. The truth here is that MS. Behar is but another citizen living in the land of make believe, where things are what you wish them to be.
I think I may have mentioned this before, but it is relevant here. Up until fairly recent times, the left controlled the flow of information. And that situation existed for so long they began to believe that anything they put out there would be swallowed hook, line and sinker.
Now that there is a world wide web that allows people to find their own information and check the facts of what is being reported to them, the MSM and their minions cannot figure out how to respond.
It reminds me of that scene from “The Wizard of OZ” when the great and powerful is called upon to make good on his promises. The bluster and volume of the Wizard’s voice booms throughout the room, while the flames of wrath shoot ever higher at the commoners who would dare to challenge a wizard. Until the smallest of the party boldly pulls back a the curtain concealing a common man pushing all the buttons.
Despite the admonition to “Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain”, the truth is out.
The MSM and our elected representatives seem to be at the “pay no attention to the man behind the curtain stage”. The light of day has penetrated into the carefully built facade of superiority and omnipotence, and has revealed for the very first time the deception that was the absolute unquestioned authority on all information.
They do not know how to deal with truth or facts, and it scares the hell out of them. Get used to it.
As for Joy Behar, a good bucket of water should solve that problem. It worked for Dorothy.
So just to clarify…those of us who believe in personal responsibility and national security are selfish and uncaring. Right? Thanks, Joy.
Every time I see the view she has old jokes that I’ve heard before.
His show isn’t any kind of discussion or a political forum of ANY kind. It’s just a soap box for Bill to espouse his version of things and get a few laughs.
There are no thoughtful questions or legitimate discourse, just insults and opinions laced with hateful barbs at all things not Maher and the lingering smirk of King Bill as he ponders what a deep thinker he is. How proud Hef must be!

The point of the issue is what – if anything – to do about parents who make very poor choices. Graeme Frost had no insurance because his parents chose to not buy any, not because they lacked the resources to do so.
The is a repeat of the “welfare queen” battles and reforms that began during the Reagan era.

I was at Daytona for Dale Sr.’s last complete race, the IROC on Friday and the 500 when we lost him. Also went to the Rock the week after.
I once delivered a helicoter to Davey Allison in Birmingham, AL. Had lunch with him. He was great. I really miss him.
