Kinda hard to have an echo chamber when the McConnel email came AFTER the freeper post.

McConnel’s aide was summarizing what the blogosphere had found out. The Freeper posted his info on 10/6. The email wasn’t sent to the press until 10/11.

I am simply trying to spark discussion on a topic I care strongly about. It ties in to the topic of this thread as well. (Echo chamber, hateful commentary, etc.)

I personally hope the schip vote comes up up again and again, until 08, where anyone who has voted against it for all that time will see what the American people do when their children’ health is concerned.

Watershed is now attempting to hijack this thread to continue his insane attempts to discuss the Frosts and SHCIP. Don’t ask it for facts, as it knows none. If you tell it the electricity has gone off, it will ask if there is butter or syrup for it’s pancakes.

Sure. The original McConnell email said that they paid 20k for each one of their kids for school for one. The email made hints that their $45k income wasn’t believeable.

That false email rang in the echo chamber here and at freeper type sites, and the widly speculative “icwhatudo” post magically appeared, and then MM’s drive by past the Frosts house, in her poor attempt at journalism.

All the speculation here was brought into being by that McConnell email.

Can you enlighten us at to the lies about the Frosts? Were they not already on SCHIP? Did they not own all those vehicles? Did they not live in that house? Did they not own that commercial property?

Since I prefer to make judgement on correct facts, which parts were lies? I understand that there were some discrepancies in the income of the family and I believe that the discrepancy was pointed out on this site (otherwise I wouldn’t know about it). But since they were already on SCHIP under the current guidelines, they must be at or below 200% of the federal poverty level.

So can you please give us the correct information?

The echo chamber is loud in here for sure as well. McConnell emails some lies about the Frosts and their schip status and this bunch goes running, believing all the lies it contained.

And this thread alone belies the belief here that is that only liberal websites can be hateful. Unhinged indeed. This site continually mocks and belittles liberals. A curse word alone does not a hateful statement make.

I think this site is the conservative mirror image of what it projects the Daily Kos to be, and yes, thank goodness this fringe remains a true fringe.
