Remember too, ever dollar that Rush gives to this charity means ultimately less that he doesn’t have to place in the fiscally-irresponsbile hands of the Democratic lead House and Senate. Tax deductable giving is a great way to say ‘go fly a kite’ to the government.

Good. Put on record for the American people to know that 41 of our leaders launched an attack on a private citizen for not only expressing his right to free speech, but for speaking the truth. It’s exactly what Rush said. Reid et al can spin all he wants.

I just watched the clip of Reid from Drudge’s link. I was coming out of my skin with every word he uttered. Basically, he is taking credit for what Rush is doing, and in other words he used, was saying that had he not been so wonderful to have written that letter, then this charity would not be getting the money it is going to be getting. He only laments that he didn’t have more time to get all the Dems to sign it, but apparently there were certain time constraints he had to adhere to in order to send this hit letter.

I was beside myself, I really was. I recommend everyone go and watch this and see if you agree. It is just sick how he is turning it aoround to make it look llike the auction and everything else was what he had in mind all along, and instead of giving Rush credit for it, everyone should be falling down around him, praising him for his forsight in sending this.

Just disgusting, and yes, he did this speech on the Floor so that it would get put in the record.

The best was when he said hpow wonderful it was that he and Rush could put aside their differences in order to do this auction. Sick…just sick.

Wow. You know, I really wanted to outbid the winner for that letter. If it were not for my monthly payment for health insurance, I would have been in the mix!!!!!

Now if the Dems were successful at expanding SCHIP, I could have dropped my health coverage, letting the rest of you suckers pay for it, and used that money to win that auction. But no, people feel I should be personally responsible for my own health care. Meanies! What a bunch of BULLSCHIP!
