Traditional wild fires usually take weeks to burn themselves out. All you can really do is evacuate, and then pray that the wind shifts so that the fire burns in upon itself. I know of no aircraft that's going to stop 80 mph winds. Sorry. I am praying for everyone, though---including myself.....nowhere near the fire area, and indoors, but even I can't breathe!
