Done. Read it, paypal, emailed post.
Just went through some of his stories. He really does some amazing work. Am glad I followed the link to his site. Wishful thinking, but it would be nice if his work was talked about.
AWESOME!
You’ve got to love these guys.
I’ve read Yon’s outstanding reporting for almost two years. This is the type of stuff a pulitzer prize is made from….not the bombastic, demagogued chicken little propaganda of a goracle.
I’ve asked it before & I’ll ask it again: why is not Michael Yon a featured reporter on FOX news??
I tapped my PayPal account and spiffed Michael for his excellent work. I urge everyone else to do the same! Appreciating his efforts is one thing, putting some money in the tip jar is always warmly appreciated.
We give something every month to him. He’s done awesome work and we have to make sure he is able to do so. I also with his work was talked about.
locomotivebreath#4 – Have tried to keep up with Yon for about the same amount of time. In their quest to prove “fair and balanced” reporting, as our esteemed MM has experienced – should Fox decide to feature Michael Yon’s tremendous work they’d feel it necessary to include an interview with OBL. Never mind, they’ll run the latest sewer sludge from OBL, but not Mr. Yon’s fine work.
I have sent Michael Yon messages and posted on his blog that this latest dispatch is the best he has ever written.
And, we have our Marching Orders.
RUCK UP!
KEEP FIVE!
WATCH SIX!
I have been a supporter and fan for a while now. My son promised me that if he meets Yon (they were in the same area together for a while) he will get a picture with him and his autograph for me. You know you are a serious military mom/wife when you are a Michael Yon groupie. Him and Ben Stein. Sigh!
Honestly though, his work is about the only news I will read concerning the war (other than here too of course). I feel like he is fair, honest and he really does not put a spin on things. He reports it as he sees it. He’s my hero!
Yon is serious and we can thank him for bringing clarity to the reporting out of Iraq.

Michael’s work does appear on foxnews.com at times – they’ll do an intro/excerpt, then link to the entire piece on his site. He’s also had some work published in one of the conservative mags (can’t recall which). I’m not sure Michael would want to be a “featured reporter” on any network – I’ve been reading him for 2 years now, and I get the impression he likes his independence and doesn’t want to put himself in a position where someone else could be calling the shots about what he covers. Just my two cents about it – take it for what you will…
God Bless him.
Reader, Supporter and Fan.
Keep up the good work!
This news should make the liberal Democrats and all their freakazoids absolutely suicidal oops…. I mean nutso.Amazing that good news from the front is bad news for a large portion of the country. I liked the part about Iraq at war is more peaceful then at any time under Sadam. Where were all these phony code pinkos and their ilk then?
Even before the surge was producing results, Yon’s dispatches shed much-needed light on the heroism of our troops and some actual fair-and-balanced coverage of the good, the bad and the ugly. I have been a fan from the first dispatch I read and wish him Godspeed in this latest endeavor to get the word out to a broader audience.
