Report: Illegal aliens caught stealing wildfire relief supplies
Terrific. Via the San Diego Union Tribune fire blog (hat tip – reader Phil):
Six illegal immigrants who were suspected of stealing relief supplies from Qualcomm Stadium were arrested by Border Patrol agents after San Diego police stopped them Wednesday morning.
A woman who had been evacuated to the stadium told officers she saw the group load up two pickup trucks and a car with cots and other supplies, leave and then return, said police Sgt. Jesse Cesen~a.
When officers stopped them, a member of the group said they were being paid to take things of value from the stadium.
“They were stealing a lot of stuff,” Cesen~a said. “We took the stuff back and we escorted them out. They were stealing from the people in need.”
Because some members of the group spoke Spanish, officers called Border Patrol agents at the stadium for relief efforts. They determined the people were in the country illegally and arrested them.
Just looting the emergency aid no one else will loot.

Whatcha mean arrest? These poor undocumented Americans should be brought to the U.S. Capitol and wined and dined by Mr. Durbin. They are simply doing jobs that American thieves won’t do. We need more outstanding criminals like this here, and they should all be given citizenship and a Democrat voter registration card immediately!

I’m so shocked, so terribly shhhhhocd. If there is free medical care, housing assistance, free Social Security numbers that somehow belong to other folk, and a slew of other freebies – they are first in line. Oh Bush, your freeends from across the border are thieves. Get over it, build the fence, and kick these roaches, that just arrested, out first. Better yet, hand them over to any whose family have been here more than 50 years and watched their wages go down the toilet – you won’t have to worry about them again.
To steal from those that have suffered a great tragedy, for whatever reason, is lower than anything I can think of. No one is asking if you are legal or illegal at the shelters.

I could never be in Law Enforcement, my fuse is wayyyy to short with what these guys run into on a daily basis.
Arrested them? That sounds so out of character.
But they were told by the Governatator that everything in America is free?

A federal emergency has been declared for the area. Looters usually are ordered shot on sight.
Over and over and over this happens and still all geraldoh does is cringe and hope its not an illegal. what a flippin toolbag he is.
You can feign being shocked that they were stealing and you can even feign to be shocked that they were arrested but you’ll have to be an be even better actor to feign being more shocked to find out they’ve seen a judge and turned loose so they can find something else to steal.
We have found the enemy and that enemy is the American treason artists known as our political leaders.
We’ve also had a few incidents of partially burned out homes being looted as well.
No doubt we’ll be hearing more stories like this in the coming days.

Pres. Bush has asked Congress for $1.4 BILLION to help Mexico fight drug traffickers. Mexican Pres. Calderon ( the “Mexico has no borders” Calderon) said that the U.S. is doing too little to stop the flow of arms etc SOUTHWARD.
How about if WE use the $1.4 billion to build the fence and use the drug sniffing dogs ,helicopters,and suveillance planes that Bush promised Mexico to stop the flow of illegals, and drugs that flow NORTHWARD into the U.S.!
What happened to the stuff they took on the earlier trip(s)? Where is the alleged client?
Shoot on sight makes sense if you can’t effectively detain someone, but this was not the case here. Nonetheless they should never get out of prison.
This is why we need pre-amnesty. Can you imagine the humiliation these new Americans must be feeling at being arrested like common citizens?

I have a suggestion that I think would get Mexico’s attention …
Keep track of every penny of taxpayer money spent on medical, food stamps, welfare, housing assistance, etc., etc., on the illegals from Mexico … then deduct every cent of it from the foreign aid check that congress sends to Mexico … if nothing else it would get attention …

So let’s see now…we give’m free medical, college grants, driver’s licences, citizen rights, if their kids are born here they can stay. Meanwhile, I’m paying 32% for my small business on top of my property taxes, sales taxes, and a half-dozen others, etc. I have to let employees go because I can’t afford their personal insurance, my supplies cost more and more due to rising energy costs, etc., etc. Meanwhile, senators are fighting to shorten their two-day work week (Pelosi), they can lie and not be held accountable (Murta), and I’ll be arrested if I punch them in the face (because I’m the thug). And illegals are stealing from honest-hard working folks like me who may have just lost everything…Ah, the joys of a middle class slave.
