Who cares about voter fraud, anymore? ACORN guilty pleas ignored

By Michelle Malkin  •  October 30, 2007 12:12 PM

Remember last fall, when every last moonbat was decrying voter fraud preemptively? Remember Diebold Derangement Syndrome? After the Dems won, of course, voter fraud dropped from their political radar screen.

And boy, would they love for the rest of us to fuhgeddaboudit.

Yesterday, three elections hoaxers who worked for the far Left group ACORN pleaded guilty in Seattle for their role in the biggest election fraud scheme in Washington state history (hat tip - Orbusmax). Didn’t make the nightly news:

Three of seven defendants in the biggest voter-registration fraud scheme in Washington history have pleaded guilty and one has been sentenced, prosecutors said Monday.

The defendants were all temporary employees of ACORN, the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, when they allegedly filled out and submitted more than 1,800 fictitious voter-registration cards during a 2006 registration drive in King and Pierce counties.

No votes were cast in the names of the phony voters. Prosecutors said the defendants committed fraud in order to keep their jobs without actually registering voters.

King County election workers brought the fraud to the attention of prosecutors last October, after noticing that signatures on many registration forms looked like they had been written by the same person.

Those of you with long memories will recall that these are the goons who filed thousands of phony registration forms while sitting around a table at the Seattle Public Library, using names like the following:

Tom Tancredo
Dennis Hastert
Alcee Hastings
John McKay
Leon Spinks
Frekkie Magoal
Fruto Boy Crispila

I ask again: Why do we still fork over taxpayer subsidies to ACORN?

I still submit we should wipe the voter rolls clean nationwide and start over. To register you must bring a photo ID, proof of citizenship, and proof of residence. This should all be tied in to a national database to prevent registering at two different addresses.

Demanding ID and such is good enough for opening a checking account, renting a video, and other transactions. Is it too much for people to identify themselves beyond stating, “This is me”?

I live in small-town America. Everyone knows each other. But you know what? Every election, they want to see my ID.

    They’re doing their jobs. Shocking!

ACH, that’s exactly why NY’s Gov wants to give illegal aliens drivers’ licenses. Once they have official ID, it’s going to be very hard to prove they shouldn’t be voting - for the Dems of course. Add to it same day registration, and every tourist in America on election day can vote. The man is a traitor.

The most important thing to keep in mind with ACORN is that they are in bed with George Soros. No group in bed with Soros should ever be allowed to enjoy tax free status because their work is never non partisan.

ACORN helps Soros carry out his quasi socialist agenda and they do it under the guise of things like civil rights.

My main knowledge of this group comes from their interference in my industry, mortgages.

They went down to Florida and put on a full court media press to try and pressure Countrywide to disregard the terms of a bunch of loans because the borrowers were no longer able to pay. A mortgage is a contract and ACORN used poor folks as victims to pressure a private company into disregarding the contract they made with other private citizens. When groups start to do that they threaten the very fabric of the capitalistic nature of our economic system. They do it by trotting out those people that make for sympathetic victims.

I remember very vividly because at the time I was from Florida, and because my ship didn’t have a bar code device (at the time all ships/and overseas post offices didn’t have them) I don’t know if my ballot was counted at all.

And I definately made sure that there wasn’t any hanging chads! ;)

Tens of millions more listen to conservative talk radio than Err America and the like.

Movies aimed at the family/traditional values slaughter most of the R rated swill.

Most Americans still want us to actually win in Iraq in the face of a 100%, non-stop, 24/7 MSM onslaught of anti-military propoganda.

    American flags are everywhere.

People applaud our men and women in uniform as they travel around the country.

I consider the above and wonder: “How is it that they ever win anything ? Legitimately, anyway.” And the answer is: “I think maybe (accepting for certain moonbat metropolises…but wait, why would any New Yorker vote for pacifists and appeasers ?) they never really win anything. Not w/o the halp of stalinist groups like “acorn” anyway. Someday the truth will be known! I keep praying.

I can believe Massof2twits and Berzerkely, but I just can’t fathom that Penn. would reelect the traitor mytha over and over for the last 4 decades, 3 of which were after “ABSCAM”. Nope, Hugh Hewitt was on to something. Except they don’t even need it to be close to cheat. I think media bias is worth 15 points like one of there swamis admitted a couple of years ago, and chalk the rest of it up to very well organized, and seemlessly hidden from view, corruption of a most insidious nature. Just imagine your kids’ 9th grade “social studies” teacher being in charge of counting the votes in your precinct, because he or she is.

I take it back, we will probably never know the true scale of just how bad it is.

MM misrepresents the facts. ACORN did not plead guilty:

They hired temps. The temps faked cards to get paid. The temps plead guilty.

No votes were cast in the names of the phony voters.

No harm, no foul. On the other hand, in 2004 Republican officials in Ohio created shortages of voting machines almost entirely in Democratic districts with the result that many Democrats could not vote. In 2000 in Florida, Republican officials “incorrectly” purged many eligible voters from the rolls, removing thousands of votes for Gore.

Loretta Sanchez, an anchor baby, is a sitting congressman as the result of voter fraud right in my back yard. She won by 948 votes even though an investigation counted over 4,023 votes by Illegal Immigrants.
    SOURCE:
“California Secretary of State Bill Jones concedes that the state’s electoral system is being plagued by registration irregularities so widespread that, according to a 1995 Elections Summit report, they may involve as many as one-fourth of all California’s 14 million registered voters.”

Dornan’s allegations come only months after two employees of the Los Angeles INS blew the whistle on the Citizenship USA project, an ongoing naturalization drive promoted by Bill Clinton that registered 1.3 minion individuals just before the November election.”

An INS investigation in 1996 into alleged Motor Voter fraud in California’s Forty-sixth Congressional District revealed that “4,023 illegal voters possibly cast ballots in the disputed election between Republican Robert Dornan and Democrat Loretta Sanchez.” (p. 24)”
John Fund-Stealing Elections: How Voter Fraud Threatens Our Democracy

Dornan brought his case to the House Contested Elections Task Force, which in February 1997 issued many subpoenas and promised a hearing in Orange County,

Thanks to the RNC, they dropped the investigation and allowed the anchor baby, aka Loretta Sanchez to steal an election in the name of Political Correctness.

Now you know why Spitzer and the DNC want Drivers Licenses for Illegals and oppose showing a valid picture ID at the polls.
