Conservative bloggers to FEC: Investigate Hillary’s Chinatown funny money

By Michelle Malkin  •  October 31, 2007 11:45 AM

Over the weekend, Fox News Channel’s Bret Baier asked me if the Chinatown story had traction. If conservatives stay on the story and liberal MSM outlets like the LA Times don’t cower before the p.c. police, the answer is yes.

Blogs for Bush moves the ball forward by calling on the FEC to investigate Hill’s Chinatown funny money. Mark Noonan and Matt Margolis, citing the LAT and NYPost probes of the dishwasher donations, have filed a formal complaint:

October 31, 2007

Office of General Counsel
Federal Election Commission
999 E Street, NW
Washington, DC 20463

Dear Counsel:

We write to file a complaint against the Hillary Clinton for President Committee for violation of Federal Election Law under the Commission’s jurisdiction.

It is clear from recent news accounts that the campaign and its donors and fundraisers have violated 2 USC 441f, the provision of law that prohibits campaign contributions in the name of another, and that some donors may have violated 2 USC 441e which prohibits donations by foreign nationals without permanent resident status…

…it is worth noting that the Hillary Clinton for President Committee has clearly decided to take no action to remedy these violations. According to the New York Post, “The Clinton campaign dismissed the L.A. Times story as derogatory to Chinese-Americans.”

Accordingly, the Clinton campaign’s disinterest in and failure to remedy these violations along with the potential scope of the abuse indicates that that the Commission should investigate and take action against those responsible for violation of the law.

The information in this complaint is based upon information and belief, and not on our personal knowledge.

The FEC has 15 days to respond. Stay tuned.

Too bad the Blogs for Bush guys don’t have Asian ethnic surnames. Yes, Olbermann will have to be content with distracting attention from the core campaign finance corruption here by hitting his “MaglaGONG!”

Then what? Tell the “people”. Like they care. Dancing is over and they are all heart broken. The polls should not even be close. It just shows you that people - voters - just don’t care. All Hillary has to do is get on Dancing and she is a lock.

Throw the Peter Paul campaign finance issue in there too while you’re at it…it’s about time that Hillary’s taught that neither she nor any member of her election committee are above the law. I’m getting physically ill thinking about all the freedoms she’s planning on challenging during her first term in office should the idiots of this country manage to elect her.

    Nice idea!

    Here’s another one:

Contact the FDA and ask them to:

    1) Investigate the effects of birth control pills on an under-developed reproductive system.

    2) Charge and Fine any school Nurse or Doctor who distributes these drugs “off indication” (as in birth control to children).

Bristol-Myers Squibb recently paid a settlement of $515 million for marketing psychiatric drugs to children because that “indication” was never filed for or approved.

Since nobody has ever done a study on children using birth control pills (I think it might be illegal), no application for this has ever been filed so no permission has ever been granted and distributing drugs without approval is illegal.

I already called the FDA (phone umber is on the website fda.gov) and asked them to investigate, but I am a private citizen in Connecticut. We need someone with clout to do this.

The culture of corruption, supposedly the reason the dems have control of both the senate and the house, is fine with the dems. They (the dems) continue to vote for these corrupt politicians.

Yes, DC needs a clean-up, but without term limits and stricter lobbyist laws this will NEVER change. They disregard law for their own power. That power must be limited; and our forefathers thought that these limits existed in the people’s vote. We have now learned that is not true.

How long before we can coordinate the voters to vote the encumbants out after 2 terms? How long before we can find a group of politicians not bought and paid for by special interest lobbyists to legislate stricter lobby laws? It is a circle that cannot be broken, isn’t it?

A vicious circle of taxing without representation creating entitlement slaves and tax slaves. You are either one or the other. Face it unless we take control through Revolution we are stuck in this vicious circle.

A long time ago, I made up a fictional society that had given up on trying to stop politicians from taking bribes (or lobbying money, campaign contributions, book sales, etc.) so they remove the salaries of politicians completely. They figured it was pointless to waste taxpayers’ money on people who wouldn’t listen to the taxpayers, so they made the bribes the only source of income. Then they stopped paying attention to anything the politicians said because the politicans had stopped paying attention to anything they said. Eventually, the society evolved into government by guilds, where the people did what they thought was best and just let the politicans talk about it. “Ignore him, junior, he’s just a politican. All he does is talk. We’re the ones who actually do the important work.”

Joe Lieberman’s secretary actually recognizes my voice since I’ve called so often (usually when Michelle Malkin, Bill O’Reilly, or Glenn Beck recommend it) and he has never let me down. I’ve given up on Dodd and am even thinking or trying to run against him at one point because “someone has to do it”.

TimDenchanter.. would that this could happen! But, back to reality, now.

Who has the control over the politicians salaries? The Politicians! We are stuck! This circle can’t be broken! They dictate that they get paid a salary, they raise their wages regularly; and we their tax slaves foot the bill.

We are in a total state of annarchy and our politicians blather about feeding the annarchists! Our laws are ignored by millions the world over as well as those living here, yet the politicians can only talk about assisting them in the tearing down of our sovereignity.

Sadly we can only continue to vote for the lessor of two evils and hope beyond hope they don’t do something stupid.
