“2day there is no deal”

By Michelle Malkin  •  November 7, 2007 09:33 PM

1rosie.jpg We started the day with schadenfreude, we end the day with schadenfreude. It looks like Rosie O’Blabbermouth has just lost her impending talk show deal with MSNBC because she “let it slip” publicly while negotiations were underway (I guess that’s the face-saving explanation for NBC finally realizing how radioactive she is in the wake of the public backlash of the rumored plan). She mourns her loss in trademark p(rosie) on her blog:

we were close to a deal
almost done
i let it slip in miami
causing panic on the studio end

well
what can u do

2day there is no deal
poof
my career as a pundit is over
b4 it began

Well, we know whom the NYTimes will blame for the collapsed deal: Bush and the GOP and the Crushing of Dissent, of course!

Ace of Spades asks: “Why not cut out the middleman of ratings failure and pass the savings on to the public?”

2funny!

Bryan Preston celebrates in lower-case verse:

comedy gold
no mo
cuz no ro sho

btw
fire can melt steel
how do u think steel iz made?
doesnt gro on treez

Lol lol lol lol

My turn:

1bigmouth
2 hard to shut
up and away
goes ro’s show

ur head’z 2 big
2 C the danger of
putting the cable tee-vee cart
b4 the blabbering horse

well
what can u do
boo freakin’ hoo
so long
ding dong
ching chong

Here’s MSNBC’s coverage of itself
and the Rosie blow-up:

The cable news channel owned by NBC Universal would not officially comment on the report but a source close to MSNBC TV confirmed O’Donnell’s report…

…Fox News dominates prime-time ratings for cable news channels, averaging 1.5 million viewers this year, according to Nielsen data. MSNBC is third with 505,000, behind CNN’s 755,000.

Well, if MSNBC can handle the ghastly Keith Obermann, they can certainly handle the wretched Rosie O’D. Indeed, the combination would have seemed to have been a match made in hell, a perfect ratings booster. So I am missing something here. In any event, the creature will be back, likely more powerful than ever. I could see her, for example, as press secretary for the Hillary administration . . .

Yeah, NBC turned the lights way down on the football thing (going green) last Sunday. If they had Olbermann and Rosie both, they’d also have to turn the audio off.

Awwwwwwww…poor little Rosie. I can’t wait to hear how she spins this around to be someone else’s fault. Sure, she admits it is because she can’t keep her Lil Debbie sucking trap shut now, but by tomorrow it will be some huge “Swift Boating” thing that kept her from expressing her First Ammendment rights.

And no, people who use that teenage immature letter and number speak made popular by the text messaging kids do not just bug you. it is her pathetic attempt to appear “Cool” and “Hip” and “Down wit it”. Only old Republican fuddy-duddies would find it to be an embarrassment and a way to show your immaturity level and illiteracy at her age.

Sorry Michelle, I am not now, nor will I EVER be so hard up for blog fodder to ever again visit that…THING….she calls a blog. More like a self-love fest if you ask me. If she isn’t telling everyone how wonderful she is as a person, not to mention how she is the only person in the history of the world to ever raise children (if having nannies and other people constantly attending to them for you can me considered “raising children”) then all you have to do is read her comments and see all the very, very lonely and pitiful people in this country who constantly stroke her over-inflated and disgusting ego.

yuck. I am trying to avoid diabetes in my life, thanks.

Actually, no they just report the news. Rosie, like the democratic politicians, don’t like answering hard questions. They prefer MSNBC and CNN because those are left-wing media outlets. The difference between them and FOX is that they are all left-wing and are soft and easy on any liberal. Anyone and everyone on FOX will ask hard questions to everyone.

Lou Dobb’s has moved to prime time which makes it easier to miss the Fox Shepard and I mostly watch the rerun of Glenn Beck rather than Hannity & Stupid (I mostly find O’Reilly Fox employees to be far other than subject matter experts and Bill is so full of himself he can even screw up a Dennis Miller segment).

Actually, Bill, Sean, Alan, Shep, Michelle, and Juan are nice as long as you shut-up and answer questions. The people who get talked down to are people who basically deserve it because

    1) They want to use their time to rant about Bush or 9-11

    2) They want to attack the FOX news hosts to “help” their campaign efforts, as opposed to debating with those “scary” republicans.

    3) They are so far out there no one knows what they are talking about.

All three are examples of bad journalism, FOX has high and fair standards, and the producers are quite demanding at keeping things moving. When you are the number one cable news station and continue to gain ground on free network news, advertising prices are high and they expect good returns. So, bit_boy, as you can clearly see, It’s all a business.
