We started the day with schadenfreude, we end the day with schadenfreude. It looks like Rosie O’Blabbermouth has just lost her impending talk show deal with MSNBC because she “let it slip” publicly while negotiations were underway (I guess that’s the face-saving explanation for NBC finally realizing how radioactive she is in the wake of the public backlash of the rumored plan). She mourns her loss in trademark p(rosie) on her blog:

Well, if MSNBC can handle the ghastly Keith Obermann, they can certainly handle the wretched Rosie O’D. Indeed, the combination would have seemed to have been a match made in hell, a perfect ratings booster. So I am missing something here. In any event, the creature will be back, likely more powerful than ever. I could see her, for example, as press secretary for the Hillary administration . . .
Yeah, NBC turned the lights way down on the football thing (going green) last Sunday. If they had Olbermann and Rosie both, they’d also have to turn the audio off.

Bill O’Reilly, Hannity & Colmes have become so tabloid and a waste I was looking forward to watching the daily Rosie train wreck. Lou Dobb’s has moved to prime time which makes it easier to miss the Fox Shepard and I mostly watch the rerun of Glenn Beck rather than Hannity & Stupid (I mostly find O’Reilly Fox employees to be far other than subject matter experts and Bill is so full of himself he can even screw up a Dennis Miller segment).
Fox News generally is nauseating, redundant and a waste of time. I think Fox is vulnerable to a Rosie come back. She is much like amnesty. You never know when.
I would lliken her more to a herpes outbreak. Painful, embarassing, disgusting, severely contagious and always shows up at the most inoportune time.
Just look at the commercials.
Actually, no they just report the news. Rosie, like the democratic politicians, don’t like answering hard questions. They prefer MSNBC and CNN because those are left-wing media outlets. The difference between them and FOX is that they are all left-wing and are soft and easy on any liberal. Anyone and everyone on FOX will ask hard questions to everyone.
Actually, Bill, Sean, Alan, Shep, Michelle, and Juan are nice as long as you shut-up and answer questions. The people who get talked down to are people who basically deserve it because
1) They want to use their time to rant about Bush or 9-11
2) They want to attack the FOX news hosts to “help” their campaign efforts, as opposed to debating with those “scary” republicans.
3) They are so far out there no one knows what they are talking about.
All three are examples of bad journalism, FOX has high and fair standards, and the producers are quite demanding at keeping things moving. When you are the number one cable news station and continue to gain ground on free network news, advertising prices are high and they expect good returns. So, bit_boy, as you can clearly see, It’s all a business.
Hot Air TV even on MSNBC would be a ratings winner. Might even appeal to the suits worried about potential fairness doctrine issues with the current lineup.
Too bad. It’s fun to have more libtards to poke fun at all the time.

It is all I can do to look at her picture this early in the morning. The talk this morning on Fox was the deal breaker was her demanded of a helicopter shuttle to and from the job. I love the way those on the left are screaming about reducing our carbon footprint when their’s is 5-10 times bigger then the average American. One less moonbat to have to hear about on a daily basis, but on the other hand it would be hysterical to listen to some of her outlandish conspiracy theories.

I really think it would have been great to see Rosie get her own show on MSNBC. Great, now that I have your attention: I think there is no better way to expose these loons to the entire country then to put them on national television and call it “hard hitting legitimate news” – i.e. Keith Olbermann (D). The best way to discredit people like her is to expose them and their crazy ideas and rhetoric – and what better way to do that then to have NBC foot the bill! Its that whole give them just enough rope to hang themselves with thing.

Talk_Luigi #46, may I call you child of Fox without offending, and yes as O’Reilly justifies their platform for ratings and it is a business(being a business might be a surprise). I’ve never heard mentioned it’s for quality unless comprehensive coverage of the mundane is acceptable (I greatly respect Michelle’s Fox offerings but O’Reilly can’t handle Malkins level of the truth).

You know Larry King, Sean Hannity and Alan Colmes were looking forward to picking up the viewers abandoning MSNBC in the time slot. Then again, I guess King on CNN would have gotten most of them. I suspect MXMBC viewers would lean toward CNN more than Fox, come to think of it. I suspect neither “Larry King Live” nor “Hannity & Colmes” were fretting over the possibility of losing any viewers to “Rosie Rhetoric” for that hour, except for maybe some morbid curiosity in the first day or two.
