Another jihadi mass slaughter of innocent schoolchildren
Dozens of schoolchildren and five teachers were among those killed in a suicide attack in northern Afghanistan earlier this week — the country’s deadliest since the fall of the Taliban — the government said Friday.
The 59 schoolchildren had lined up to greet a group of lawmakers visiting a sugar factory in the northern province of Baghlan on Tuesday when a suicide bomber detonated explosives.
“The education minister has ordered that no children should be ever again be used in these sort of events,” said Zahoor Afghan, an Education Ministry spokesman. He said the children ranged in age from 8 to 18.
In all, the explosion claimed the lives at least 75 people, including several parliamentarians, and wounded 96. It was the deadliest attack in the country since the toppling of Taliban regime from power in the 2001 U.S.-led invasion.
BBC reports that ball bearings were mixed with the explosives.

I need to say this aloud from time to time as anyone who would do such a thing to children is of the lowest form of life. I pray that these children are at peace and I pray for their families.

What a sorry and sick situation. Our priorities are so turned around that words fail me. The barbarians that do things like this are nothing but cockroaches.
Honestly, can there be an example of a more hateful “religion”? When they’re not trying to convert or kill the unbelievers, they’re perfectly happy killing each other!

Also, it is against the Law of Armed Conflict to target schools, unless they are being used as a hide out or as a place to wage war. And then it darn near takes an act of congress to get approval.

As a husband and father, myself, my thoughts and prayers go out to the parents who lost their children, and to those who lost their parents and spouses.

I do not believe Southernboy is who he says he is. He is so far off the Christian mark that he cannot be who he says he is.
My opinion? He is certainly an extremist, but not one of the right wing. My take is that he is actually one of the Islamic faith masquerading as a Christian. His schtick here is a lampoon of one of the Christian faith; far from Christianity.

Our freedoms of religion, speech, and choice has weakened our ability to truly see the danger of 1 Billion that refuses to condemn those that murder others as well as their own children. Just a little info about these terrorist bombs.
I visited the UK in 1984 as part of a graduate seminar through the Univ of CO in the British criminal justice system. I was a police Sgt. at the time. While in London I got to meet members of the British anti-terrorist squad.
It is common for “terrorist” bombers to use ball bearings (as Michelle pointed out here), large nails, large bolts, and pieces of scrap metal as shrapnel, packed against the explosive. When the explosive detonates, the shrapnel is launched. The shrapnel is white hot when it leaves the explosives package.
So not only do the resulting injuries from the projectiles include amputations, eviscerations and horrible lacerations, but terrible burns as well.
The comment to our group of seminar students from the director of the anti-terrorist squad was that many of the “survivors” of such bombings would actually have been better off if they had died, rather than to have to live out the pain-filled and permanently disabled lives bequeathed them by the bombers.
No, just that some SoB seems to equate Christians and Jews with Muslims in the matter of killing children…

Those poor children, standing there with smiling faces thinking something good was happening and then they were killed or horribly wounded by an evil person who doesn’t deserve to have ever been born.

Obviously, since this factory and these children were doing something POSITIVE in this hostile land, they are infidels also. A TRUE Muslim would not even educate these children let alone let them mingle with lawmakers (whatever that my be).
