My best friend, Joy Behar
The nattering nabobs of ninnyism on “The View” never cease to amaze. You may recall last month when “View” co-host Joy Behar appeared on the Bill Maher show and called me a “selfish bitch” because I questioned Harry Reid’s poster family for the massive S-CHIP entitlement expansion. (Like the t-shirt says: “I’m not a bitch. I’m just giftedly outspoken.”)
This week, the same “bitch”-spewing celebrity is, um, complaining about John McCain because he didn’t say anything when a supporter referred to Hillary Clinton as a “bitch.” Thanks to Allah for the vid:

WHOOPI GOLDBERG: So now, let’s talk about John McCain. Shall we? This has been all over the news. A woman at a John McCain rally said to him, “how do we beat the bitch?”
JOY BEHAR: Some woman.
GOLDBERG: A woman. You know, just like any of us. Not you, of course, sir. But you know, the women. As we would say about whoever we were talking about in wherever we were. It wasn’t a broadcast thing. Someone was filming. Okay. He kind of looked a little startled and kind of laughed a little bit, because it took him by surprise. Then a guy said “I didn’t know you were talking about my wife” and made all those dumb jokes. Then he said “that’s an interesting question” and went on to say “I have a lot of respect for Hillary Clinton” and blah blah. Now everyone is up in arms with him because they feel he should have said to this woman “do not refer to Mrs. Clinton as this way.” So I say, the question for me is, having watched him have to deal with yet another woman, his mother, who made a comment about Mitt Romney, my take –
JOY BEHAR: What did she say about Mitt Romney?
GOLDBERG: I don’t remember, but it wasn’t good and he had to take care of it. And what I thought I saw on his face was, another one. I have to do this again. Now, we say the word all of the time. But people were apparently very up in arms that he didn’t pull out his yardstick and say “don’t say those words about this woman who’s running.” Now, if a man said it, if it wasn’t a woman, I’d say — can you say that? You’ll beep me, right?

BEHAR: But he’s a man. It’s different when a man uses it.
GOLDBERG: But he didn’t use it. He did not say it. A woman said it, asked him, “how do we beat the bitch?” And everyone’s angry at him for not saying “don’t you say that about Hillary Clinton.”
SHERRI SHEPHERD: And I think that we are getting so desensitized because look how everybody talks about President Bush. Whether you agree with him or not, the position of the president is a sacred position, I think, and everybody calls this man an idiot. You talk about him. So why you getting mad when somebody goes how do we beat the bitch?
GOLDBERG: You’re missing the point. Nobody is getting mad.
SHEPHERD: There were some people were in arms. I’m not saying you.
GOLDBERG: And I don’t understand that. They were up in arms for not correcting her.
SHEPHERD: Well, that’s what I’m saying. Everyone’s up in arms.
JOY BEHAR: It would have been nice. He is a gentleman, usually, McCain. It would have been nice for him to say “Well, you know, I think you’re referring to my opponent and I don’t particularly like the way you’re refer to her.” That’s all. It would have been nice and respectful to say that. That’s all. As far as Bush is concerned, I mean, I respect the office of the presidency. I just don’t respect him.

SHEPHERD: What I’m saying is the same could be said, she felt Hillary Clinton was a bitch. And so she said it.
BEHAR: No, that’s a personal assault on the woman.
SHEPHERD: You do personal assaults on President Bush.
BEHAR: Yes, I do.
SHEPHERD: So what’s the difference? What’s the difference?
BEHAR: The difference is that I don’t like him.
[Laughter]
SHEPHERD: What’s the difference? She didn’t like her.
GOLDBERG: And this woman doesn’t like her. But I still don’t understand what people wanted him to do. You’re saying he should have said “don’t say this,” but the truth of the matter is we walk around doing it all the time and the only way we get away with it is there’s no cameras with us. If no one had seen it on camera, would people have been as mad?
BEHAR: Probably not.
GOLDBERG: I don’t think so either.
SHEPHERD: And also, John McCain is a human being. Sometimes you get caught off guard. Sometimes people say things and you don’t come back the way people think you’re supposed.
BEHAR: At the end of the day, it’s going to work in favor of Mrs. Clinton because she gets the sympathy vote. Women don’t like it. That’s the truth. And so more women will vote for her because of that, I think.
SHEPHERD: Because she got called a bitch?
BEHAR: Yes. They don’t like it. It’s very sexist to call a woman a bitch when you’re a man. We could say it to each other.

GOLDBERG: We don’t want to get him all wrapped up in that. What I was trying to say is people say stuff all the time and I don’t know if everybody has to always accommodate everybody else’s political correctness. Because John McCain is a good guy. He’s a very smart guy. And, you know, we say this word all the time. I don’t know how much mail comes in about us saying it. It would be interesting to find out.
BEHAR: I think it’s when you’re friendly with a person, you can say it. We perceive them as being as being adversaries. And therefore, it did not seem appropriate. I think that’s the bottom line of it.
So, you see, since Joy Behar and I are such good friends, it’s okay for her to call me a “bitch.” But it’s not ok for John McCain to not say anything when someone else calls Hillary a “bitch.” Because he’s a man. And that’s inappropriate.
This is why I have no liberal women friends. Other than my best pal Joy Behar, of course.
They give me a migraine headache.

A whoopsie on Whoopi:
Sheesh, and here I thought Rosie O’Donnell was a complete and total idiot. Does Ms. Behar sit and actually think about what she is saying? Apparently not.
You know, I understand that the writers are on strike, but looking at the transcript, it makes me wonder how people watch that in the morning … or anytime for that matter. Now I remember why I no longer have a tv.
The thing that struck me about the entire View dialog was that it was no different if you had substituted “blacks” for the women and the “n-word” for the b-word.
Joy would be saying only blacks can say that to each other and/or if they’re friends. Hmm, ask Dog Chapman about friends.
Joy is totally vapid, and a useful idiot as far as I’m concerned.
In retrospect, Whoopi has “matured”. I remember fist seeing her in the early 80s as she totally raged against Reagan in her comedy routine. I recall a degree of shock that someone could be so emphatically vulgar & deranged, yet funny at the same time.
#98 November is actually a sweep month.

I was taken aback at how unshrill and kind WHoopie was being, even in relation to the remarks towards President Bush. Of course, i only saw this snippet, but wow..she had an opening and instead of running with it, she came across as a reasonable human being.
Once again, their hypocrisy knows no bounds. I loved how Joy-less even defended their hypocrisy, and even made it a feminist issue.
Not only that, but if you noticed, it is another case of “Do as i say, not as I do”. McCain and this mystery woman needed to show respect to Hillary based on the fact she is a woman, she is running for President and, well, because she is Hillary. however, Joy-less need not show the same respect to our President simply because she doesn’t like him. Forget that obviously Mystery Woman doesn’t like Hill-Dawg, that is beside the point. It is only the shrill Liberal who is permitted to be a condescending, humorless, hatefilled, hateful BITCH

look out for things to be offended by, either for herself or others ( apparently there are people out there who aren’t intelligent enough to know that they
should be offended and Behar intends to let them know it.)
If HC cannot take people referring to her in less than stellar terms, then she needs to pack up and
go home now, because as the campaigning goes on
things are going to get worse not better.
What does she care whether someone called Hill-Dawg a bitch or not. Hasn’t she heard? She is a strong woman playing in the “Boy’s Club”. She can take it, remember?
If Hill-Dawg can’t handle some annonymous nobody calling her a “bitch”, what will happen once the “Religion of Peace” starts chanting for her beheading and assasination, burning her in effigy, telling her she needs to be in a burka etc.?
Will Joy-less then come on TV and FINALLY denounce these peaceful people and what they do and represent?
After all, I would rather be called a “bitch” or the make equivalent by some nobody than have all those peace-lovers calling for my death and burning me in effigy, spitting on my picture etc.

The question is why doesn’t Joy like President Bush? She probably doesn’t like him because of his war on terror. I would love to hear Joy’s alternatives on fighting the Islamofacsists. Could you imagine Joy wearing a Burka, Can you imagine Joy getting lashes if she had been raped? Can you imagine Joy losing all her rights because of Islamic law? Since Joy has no plan or alternative to the war on terror she might have to face living under Islamic law someday.

Despite Sherri Shepherd calling Joy on her taunts and insults to the president, I still couldn’t help but notice when she says “when somebody goes how do we beat the bitch.” Somebody “goes“?? What are we, in 2nd grade? “Then I go…” “And then Johnny goes…” Reading it (v. hearing it) makes it stand out.
Oh, wait. I forgot. We’re talking about “The View” - the biggest sandbox on TV, with some of the nastiest playground bullies around.

Geralso Rivera is actually slightly worse than Joy Behar. That being said, it is sort of like deciding which Clinton is more insufferable. Geraldo can turn any news topic to himself. I was watching Fox News a few weeks ago with a friend and the subject was Britney Spears and Geraldo was on as an “expert” on Brtiney. My friend and I had a bet. How long would it take Geraldo before he changed the topic to himself. My friend said 30 seconds. I said two minutes. My friend won. After only 15 seconds, Geraldo said:”When I was Britney’s age, I had the same fame and celebrity…..”. Actually Geraldo, when you were Britney’s age, you were a celebtiry in your own mind but nobdoy else had heard of you. The same is true now. If you want to spit on anybody, maybe Geraldo you should look in the mirror and spit. After all, you are the guy who gave the weakest and insincere apology in the world (She made me do it because she said something that inflamed me and although I was right to be angry, I possibly think there might have been a slightly better way to say I was justified in hating MM). Geraldo is a dork who thinks he is a model of cool.
