“Senator Clinton, tell us, are they bikinis or thongs?”

How about some of the following questions?

1. What level of taxation would you like to see imposed on the American people?

2. If the economy is so bad why are illegal immigrants flooding across the border to fill jobs American’s won’t do?

3. Do you think a 14 year old girl should be allowed to have an abortion without even notifying her parents when schools aren’t even permitted to give out aspirin for a headache?

I could think of dozens of questions I’d like to hear their views on. Instead we get “Do you prefer pearls or diamonds?”

They should just give up any pretense of objectivity and openly promote their precious Democrats. I might actually pay attention to them as at least I would be hearing what they truly think, not their phony “above the fray” pretensions.

And when even the New York Times and Daily Kos are calling CNN out over this, it has to be pretty blatant.

No wonder I don’t even bother watching CNN or MSNBC when I want news.

Get used to it. And the media will gladly help get the Clinton’s back in office. This is the most manipulative woman in the world — the media, the nutbags, and the liberals are all enablers.

Oh, I know, I’ve been in the media for over 25 years and I can’t even begin to begin to count how many times I’ve had to bite my lip at a meeting when all concerned made some sick anti-conservative remark followed by hyena-like laughter or smug and disgusted scowls.

There is one hope, provided that they don’t get some kind of dirt on him (and God knows they must be trying like mad, it’s the Clinton way): if Giuliani gets the nod he’s tough enough to talk straight and…. AND… suddenly, out of nowhere, he’ll be saying things to Hillary that even her handlers won’t have prepared her for. Despite all the supposed fawning, I have a feeling that in terms of her support, while the numbers are meaningful, the actual fabric of the support is threadbare. After all, half of the country hates her already.

Still, I hope someday I won’t feel alone saying the following: everyone should start making very loud noises pointing out the democrat candidates cowardice in their refusal debate on the Fox News Channel, because it’s a win-win for conservatives if the noise gets loud enough; Either they feel the pressure to debate on Fox where they get tough questions which is very good for us, or they look not inappropriately like cowards and convince that election-turning five percent that the democrats are not ready to lead because they’re afraid of a simple News Network in their own country, which is also very good for us.

Thank God for the internet (even if Algore invented it).

Then, CNN, having the questions, can, in advance, decide who will receive a specific question.

What do you think the chances are of someone giving one or more campaigns an “advance” copy of the questions they will be asked?

If nothing else, the whole plan is ripe for abuse. There is certainly the appearance of impropriety here, which is something that I thought would be avoided at all costs with respect to the stakes involved.

My bet is that the questions leaked prior to the debate, and not to all participants.
